Uh dude with a character like Vega you might want to actualy play the game and see him in the context of the game before you make judgments on him.  I ended up liking Jack more than I thought I would.  I remember back when she was first marketed I thought I would hate her but her character grew on me.

I will kill James Vega the first chance i get :3 He actualy doesn't seem as cool as Jack he seems more or less filler like Jacob was. Notice Jacob's conversations were shorter than practicaly all the squadmates which made me think he was not really fleshed out as a character and just thrown in the mix so the team could have someone ethnic.

Grunt. Some (most) of his sadistic commentary was cringe-worthy... not because I'm squeamish, but because it lacked the same dry wit that Wrex had... I miss you, Wrex...

I dunno, he just felt like a poor replacement to me. Wrex's voice and demeanor were perfect, impossible to top (for me). That and I can't listen to Grunt without hearing Spike Spiegel.

But you havn't even played the damn game yet.  There is barely any footage on him.  Even the featurette on him doesn't show much.  Play the damn game and then make up your mind.
