Makes sense.
Also, she looks so funny in the ME2 pic, like she's looking at the player and smirking or something lol

I was able to find my ME2 facecode in the game. It didn't show up in my NG+ save but when I loaded the original playthrough it showed up in the upper left-hand corner.

Same with my canon Shep, he's an import from one to two, no face code on screen.

All my imported Sheps have face codes right over the name.

One of mine didn't have a face code for whatever reason.
I'm hoping my main Shep looks close to her usual self when I import because I didn't update her face at all in ME2.

The devs confirmed that ME3 would be taking 'raw' data from imported saves, not the face code (which may be missing for ME1 > ME2 Sheps).

Hmmm that's strange on my imported Shepard I see face code in the character screen.

I'm kind of curious as to whether or not old default FemShep will automatically change to the new FemShep or stick with the older version.
New FemShep has more personality, but I like the mouth/jaw structure of old FemShep better. The new one kinda looks like she has a monkey mouth from the wrong angle.

That's only with fresh ME1 import.
But all fresh ME1 imports have exactly the same face code.

And hey, you can always recreate the face either way!
I'll be doing that no matter what, because I want to change my characters hairstyle now and then.

Didn't they say the face wouldn't adapt to the new shapes once imported unless you edit it?

Ah brilliant, I've grown to like my character and recognise her instantly.
