 So I was on the fence about whether or not I was going to be missing work when ME3 dropped on March 6. Well after playing the demo 5 or so times now, I've decided my excitement is just way too high and I need that day to just go ahead and engulf myself in the game. So I kinda sorta told my boss my mom is having hip replacement surgery that day so of course I have to be with her. I'm probably going to hell for that. So....who all else is taking off and what's your excuse going to be?

i took a week vacation for the release of ME2. this time i traded..ill work the weekend so i can have Tues and Wed off.

Heh... I called off March 6-9 for ME3 and SFxT, but on the request slip I just put "prior obligations". My boss asked me what those obligations were, and I simply said, "You really don't want to know." She gave me this horrified look and didn't mention it again.

I have NO idea what went through her head when I said that.

Work told me that I had 2 weeks of holiday backing up, they said use it or loose it!

So I booked a week off starting on the 9th of March (UK release date)
