Depends how excited I get on the day - I already told my parents I wasn't going to go in anyway.

My school is gaming related anyway so playing Mass Effect 3 is good study material for a fledgling game designer.
Haha same here! I also study game-design.
I tell you what, at my university it's even worse. When Skyrim was released, my game-design teacher took the day off to play Skyrim non-stop. He was supposed to give us a lecture on game-mechanics that day, but he e-mailed us, saying that he prefers playing Skyrim over teaching us, with an evil smiley-face, like this:
Next week, when we say our game-design teacher, he changed the subject of his lecture from 'game-mechanics' to 'narrative in roleplaying games'. LOL!
Yeah we talked about roleplaying and roleplaying games all day long during his lecture. In the end, it wasn't much like a lecture, it was more like a debate.
My teacher has funny opinions ons roleplaying and RPGs though, opinions I actually agree with (but I bet no-one on BSN will ever agree). He said that Skyrim and Dragon Age: Origins don't really allow you to roleplay, but Mass Effect does. He felt more connected to Commander Shepard than any of this Skyrim characters or DA:O characters. He also explained why he felt like that. I actually agreed with him. I also prefer Mass Effect to DA:O or Skyrim when it comes to roleplaying.
Knowing BSN, I'm going to get some very vocal replies to that opinion, if I ever speak it out loud here, which I just did. :innocent:

I agree with your teacher. ROleplaying is playing a role. Skyrim and Origins is more about simulation.

I have a free lesson first thing on Fridays, so I'll be off to pick up mine on the 9th (UK Release date), then I'll probably skip my optional extra History lesson last thing in the afternoon to go home and get started with it. No skipping mandatory sessions though - need them to pass my courses.

Indeed - Makes doing stuff during the day so much easier when I go to a college five minutes from my house as opposed to a high school a 20 minute train and a 20 minute bus away.

You guys are fortunate to be able to have schools. Everything I know I had to teach myself through trial and error, and lots of DVD's.Good luck in whatever field you end up choosing.
