I took 10 days off from the 7th; 2 days to finish off a couple of ME and ME 2 playthroughs I stopped to play Skyrim and KOA: Reckoning and then the rest to play the ME3….and to go on a trip but most of it is ME3 time!
I can already see myself with my nose pressed against the door of my local Game waiting for it to open on the 9th of March.

Edit: My Out of Office for my PTO is already set up, I'll be in Space:police:

I'm at home with my children at the moment anyway. I will however be locking them both in a shed on March 9th.

What? I'll probably put some sandwiches in there too ...

I have exams on the 7th and so forth. So 'm royally ****ed. I'll study everything beforehand so i'll have 5 hours of play each day, maybe cut some sleep to make it work.

goddamn bioware is ruining my education.

I actually had 2 days holidays to take before Arpil, so I booked them off for ME3.

"Personal Obligation Day"

Yes that exists at my work. Yes playing ME3 counts as an obligation (in my head anyway!)

Me: Hey Boss, I'm taking March 6th off.

Boss: Cause of Mass Effect 3?

Me: Possibly...

Boss: Yes...I will be sick that day as well.

Actual conversation, my job is awesome like that :)

A decade ago my stupid country's economy took a knee to the testicles when half its inhabitants felt compelled to drop whatever they're doing to watch a football player get away with murdering his wife.

Looks like ME3's our new OJ.

I work extremely hard for my down to earth boss. I know her well and I literally told her:

"If it's alright with you, i'd like to take the 6th and 7th of March off. I need some time for rest and relaxation."

Her response:

"Absolutely! Have fun!"

Jury duty. I will go for two and a half hours, get out and head home without worrying about college.

I simply wrote that I had to go "out of state for personal reasons". When my boss asked about it, I told her my aunt died and I had to go clear her apartment. My aunt's been dead for three years. I'm a horrible person, and most certainly going to hell.

:lol::lol::lol:

I gotta admit, the number of unemployed excuses seems much higher than the release of ME2.
Anyways, I told job1 that I needed 3 days off, and job 2 to get more people and stop being dependent on me to be there everyday. I may have to rush train some new guy, but at least I get my game time!

Don't forget to throw in a couple of bottles of water to use and "recycle", unless you want to deal with a mess.

Lol no excuse. I just told my boss I needed time off. Bunch of the guys took time off when Skyrim came out so he's used to it. :) School is a whole other story. Ot depends on whats coming up that week but I may cash in those sick daus everyone else took early. Or I may go, it's only an hour in the morning. Don't know how well I'll function on no sleep though.

Good tip, thanks, don't want my poor shed getting all messy.

ME3's release falls within my spring break. Counting the day of release itself I'll have 6 days with the game before I have to return to my classes. Thinking back to my initial play throughs of the first 2 games I'd say that'll be enough for my first run through plus half of my second.

No excuse....generally I can take my allowed days off whenever I please but I'll likely miss the launch of ME3 by a few days due to some courses I have to take in preparation for a promotion.
