Im trying to get the "play 75% of the gamer with a ____ ally" now im doing speed runs straight through story fero/noveria/dig site/ virmire etc , no side missions. My question is will I get these achievements if I dont do side missions?

This belongs in the ME1 forums. To answer your question: yes, the achievements will require you to do the side-missions as well.

I wouldn't know but someone on the ME 1 forum would probably be of greater use. My guess is at least a few side missions must be done.

No, the achievements require you to complete 75% of all missions, which includes side missions.

Well I mean it just says majority of the game with a blank ally member , but if I run through the story alone wouldn't that be considered majority?
