or do they make your me2 face look different (as in not like he looked in me2)?

It made my Shepard look much more realistic so yes your Shepard's face will change.

the full game will have a better Character Creator. My shepard (looks like Obama) looks nothing like Obama in the demo

I certainly hope so, a lot of the hair styles that they promised are not in the Demo. In fact, I think it's the exact same Character Creator.

Pretty pleased with how it looks in-game. Textured and detailed. Quite a bit more then the ME2 version.

Some looked pretty close with maybe the wrong hair color. A couple I was like who the hell is this. I was shocked that some of femsheps hairstyles actually look worse in ME3.

They do, but a lot of stuff was cut due to demo size limitations. Bioware couldn't go over Microsoft's 2GB limit and likely shaved everything from CC stuff to dialog and other audio (especially audio) to save space.

I hope my canon Shep transfers properly because that would be an odd thing to retcon for my headcanon.

this probably seems like a noob question, and i probably should know the answer after playing six shepards, but how do i find the face code to my shep? i cant see it after importing to ME2.

I'm really nervous that my Shep will import wrong. I tried the slider settings from ME1 and ME2 in the demo, and they weren't even close.

Bioware wouldn't overlook something as essential as character importing, would they?

You only get a face code if you create a Shepard in ME2, not if you import him/her from ME1

Do you mean if you make no changes from your ME1 Shepard or period.  I impoted all my Sheps from ME1 and the face code is right there over their name.

On the xbox and pc versions of Me1 . Me2, it is not possible to customize your Shepard's original face. You can make a new face in ME2 and generate a face code that way. That is what I meant. If you keep your original ME1 face for ME2, and opt out of the character creator, you will not have a face code. There is a way to get it, but it's incredibly tedious and time-consuming.

If you import a Shepard from ME1, and stick with the original face, and then start a new game, once you get to the actual game, you can pull up the squad screen and look up your original Shep's facecode there. Then you can start a new game, re-enter that facecode, and edit it.

This is on the PC. My Shep is identical throught all three games. I did not have to re-create him.

Not on 360. My Shepard still doesn't have a custom code, and he's a ME1 import.

It can be found on the bottom  TOP of the squad screen, after you press start.

I play primarily on the xbox, so was unaware of this.  Thanks =]

Yeah, the wiki only mentions the PC version so I wasn't sure about the 360.. I've taken my facecode from both games and put it into the 360 Demo, and it looks pretty good.

I feel for you all, because if I had to manually create my Shep again, I think I might just die.

It's over the name when I go into the squad screen.  But I recreate all my Sheps because I like to change the hair, facial hair, other minor things that might change over time.  I don't think I stuck with the exact imported Shep for any of them.

Edit: I play on PC too, but the codes aside from the a couple came out alright on the Xbox.
