No, I have taken my main Shepard's face code off of the xbox from the squad screen and used it for the the PC version. It's there.

if you imported shep from ME1, you cant find the face code. if you made him/her in ME2 it should be in the top left of the squad screen in the pause menu.

The one on the right is from the ME3 demo. Or do you mean ME2 on the 360? The one on the left is from ME2 on the PC.

Sh!t, I punched in a facecode and absolutely nothing happened. It'd be really weird to have my main Shep look totally different after 5 years of playing.

If you import a Shepard from ME1, and stick with the original face, and then start a new game, once you get to the actual game, you can pull up the squad screen and look up your original Shep's facecode there. Then you can start a new game, re-enter that facecode, and edit it.

This is on the PC. My Shep is identical throught all three games. I did not have to re-create him.

Hmm... that FemShep looks familiar... oh wait, it's mine

Be interesting to see how she looks in ME3

Looking forward to her playthrough as well, because definitly falls into the 'Numerous' category seeing as she ain't got any living alien squaddies left alive apart from Liara (well, unless Tali magically survived not being recruited).

Also curious as to how Jack (avatar) is going to look

If you do a direct import, you will be fine. Your Shep might not look quite as good as a newly created one could, but will look just as it always has. Since there is no import in the demo, a lot of us are just trying to carry over our facecodes to see if they look good enough translated for us to stick with them in ME3. When the game comes out, I'm still going to see what my Shep looks like imported directly.

Yeah, for the full game I'm definitely going to import directly, I'd just like to look as close as possible in the demo.

If you have a facecode, and we've just established that many Xbox 360 players don't, then you just input it on the character creation screen.

Yep I am sadden that I could not get my facecode from my ME1 Shep that I transfered to ME2. There are some minor bugs and mixups for femshep codes in the demo like hair color and eye color mix ups or just simply not being there. Like one of my femsheps from ME2 had red hair but when I input her in ME3 demo it came off dirty blonde.

I am pleased though that my favorite MShep who I nicked named PISSOFF came out dead on with improvements on the demo. I look very forward on seeing him imported with renegade scars now. XD

I hope you're right. Of all the things to worry about in ME3, my Shep not importing correctly was last on my list.

Until today.

Direct import works fine in ME2. I see no reason why it would not in ME3. The devs have said previously that import should work fine. The changes to the CC don't really matter, because the game will just use your ME2 model.

If the facecode is close enough though, you should try reconstructing it in the new CC. I feel like there are options missing from it in the demo, so I'll wait till I have the full game before deciding whether to rebuild or not.

Agh! I can barely read the face code because of my tv. And for my imported Sheps ... I will will just have to wait for March 6...
