Well, it wasn't likely to be canceled, so, I see nothing unusual in the opening statement.

While I expected this game to go gold about a month out, I'm a bit surprised at the demo timing. It strikes me that BW (and any game developer) could really gain a ton of insight and last minute tweaks from its gamers after they have a chance to play the demo and offer opinions. I'm not familiar as to how material the changes can be on day-one patches.

Notwithstanding, way to go BW!! The journey's not over quite yet, but kudos anyway.

:party:  Congratulations to you all!  You have worked especially hard on THE most wonderful Video Game to Date!  I, for one, cannot wait for the release because I know it will be a truly great game!  I was priviledged to have found BioWare games back during Neverwinter Nights not realizing it!  Love DAO and DA2.  Then I found Mass Effect...nothing else comes close!  

Enjoy your accomplishments and this time.  Don't get too stressed here near the release date.  Be proud of what you've accomplished, and keep making award-winning games!

yes congrats and in the other hand im not that excited anymore after seeing new drastical changes, holster, dialog pretty much changed to the worst ( 2 options only) , badly intro and if theres anything else well i just cant recall it right now, my mind is pretty much blanked out for this bad news

from what ive been reading up from some bioware crew members. 
yet again they could just be *lying* or *decieving* but im not gonna take my chances on assumptions just saying if what ive heard is true then eh... i think its pretty obvious what happen next.

NO!  Not too long anyway - DLC and patches to consider.  At least Casey might look less tired for a while ... and team members will get to remember they have families.
