That was pretty damn sparse conversation for "RPG".

Hopefully it's only like that in ME3 for the beginning levels so they can set up the story.

I was replaying ME1 and was thinking... Shepard pretty much never says a single thing without your direction... ME2 is pretty much the same way.

I prefer autodialogue to the illusion of dialogue choice that we sometimes got in ME1.Hunter of Legends wrote...
How about that autodialogue?

As tweeted from Mac Walters like a day or so ago.

I hope this is true then..

Does everyone here have to argue everything?
You know what I'm talking about, that is one scene of VERY FEW in the entire game.

Same here. Not to mention that I think Shepard should be able to answer simple yes/no questions if I'm going for a certain dialogue path by himself.
Quality, not quantity.

But now it's kind of not like that any longer.
Different strokes, I guess!

See little pieces like that is fine. I expect a little auto dialogue but the demo had a lot of auto dialogue. Hence why everyone is concerned that the entire game is going to be this way.MAZ77 wrote...

Ok, that Shepard looks like she has down syndrome.

The way they had the dialogue in ME1 and 2 was completely fine. Thats probably the one thing I have barely heard any complaints about. If its not broken don't fix it, thats how i see it.Someone With Mass wrote...

I would rather have dialogue choices that only had small changes than none at all.

I like engaging Shepard, but at the same time. I want to play with my shepard and go down the path I choose for shepard. I'm a nuetral pather. I always have been I want my neutral path open for me.

As someone who has read the script, I got the impression that the answers don't vary much and you get an awful lot of one-liners and scripted dialogue; MUCH more than in ME 1&2.

Yeah - the shep in the demo - wasn't my shep - he didn' talk like my shep - his whole attitude wasn't my shep.
If that does carry over in ME3 - then its kind of a bummer.
