We don't know anything is wrong until we either play the game or a dev comes and says something, one way of the other

Yeah - I don't want to watch Shep - I want to engage Shepard.
I would rather have dialogue choices that only had small changes than none at all.
same here
I like engaging Shepard, but at the same time. I want to play with my shepard and go down the path I choose for shepard. I'm a nuetral pather. I always have been I want my neutral path open for me.
Yeah - the shep in the demo - wasn't my shep - he didn' talk like my shep - his whole attitude wasn't my shep.
If that does carry over in ME3 - then its kind of a bummer.

Since you decided to be selective, I'll go ahead and reveal a few of the auto dialogue bits: "wrex it might be safer down here, sure you don't want her to stay for a while?" when asked why is he/she doing this for the krogan, that he/she doesn't know them autoshep responds "but I'd like to, hang on".
"you'll see Tuchanka again, I promise". I could go on.
This is defining dialogue, not necessary dialogue. Canon Shepard is canon Shepard, whether in rpg mode or action mode.

Clearly the demo had cut content and the main autodialogue piece to grab casual gamers who would download it. Not to mention its considering a new Shep, not an imported one which significantly changes dialogue.
People will **** about this everyday until the damn game gets in their hands, even if them complaining will do nothing.

Indeed. People think that once you get to make a dialogue "choice", that all subsequent dialogue belongs to that choice. It doesn't. Most of the dialogue is automatic. You just get to make a remark or two, then the auto dialogue/cutscene continues.
This is nowhere near ME 1 & 2.

These are the "In Game" playable options. Plus, this is a D.E.M.O. Alot of people who played the DEMO already think they are suppose to get Level 60 Infiltrator or Vanguard with all weapons/upgrades and all Biotic/upgrades with all available dialogue and cut scenes. Demo's will not contain full release material.
Action Mode - Conversations will have automatic replies and a normal combat difficulty.
Story Mode - Conversations will have manual replies and a minimal combat difficulty.
RPG Mode - Conversations will have manual replies and a normal combat difficulty.

The Dev already said in a previous thread that there more than 2 dialogue for most of the game. (Beside, the ME2 demo only have 2 choices as well)
Also it's only the opening. It's not the whole game so I don't know how anyone can judge it.

Ok first, conversation may have manual replies, but it doesn't state all manual replies. Look at the description for full decisions in dialogue, and it states that all conversations require participation. In the demo, we simply participated once or twice in the dialogue exchange, while the game automatically did the rest.
Second, please tell me which dialogue options were kept out of the mass effect 2 demo and later added to the game. I cant wait to hear this one.

That does not mean squat if we only GET a choice every 15 minutes in between Shepard talking on his own!!
