The biggest non gameplay gripe from the first 2 games is just how slow the projectives from the ships and geth collosi flew.
The entire canon concept of weapons is that you take a small chunk of something which you then accelerate to insane speeds which then using physics punches holes through anything with the same effect as large nukes. NOW, to do this the projectiles got be to flying really really fast. But the citadel fight from ME1 had to have had the slowest moving projectiles and wouldnt have done the damage needed. Actually, there were slower, the Geth vehicles and any turret. Those didnt post any risk to anything any all. I spent my insanity run just running them over with the Mako until they died.
The only exception to this rule is the disruptor torpedoes which are used by fighterbombers and frigates.
Please tell me ship weapons fire at proper speeds this time round
