I'd be surprised if he isn't a o/s romance option. Very surprised. Fem Shep has nobody guaranteed to be alive for o/s LI at this point. I seriously doubt BW wouldn't give her a new o/s option just in case the male o/s LIs are dead in that playthrough.

This ^^ Femsheps o/s romances can all be dead. I doubt they would only leave us with only Liara if we have killed all our o/s men so far.

I really hope he is a love interest though! He has one of those awesome goofy but headstrong personalities I personally find attractive and I will be pretty let down if he isn't a love interest.

I saw that picture on tumblr just a few minutes before I made my daily check up on this thread and that is a hot picture! I think someone needs to make a mod to make Vega shirtless in that sparring scene.

I knew he wouldn't tell me but figured if I enticed him with some cake he would at least answer my tweet. I like how he said that romances would be more organic this time around. I am intrigued about that, I guess more relationship build up this time around and not just 3 conversations and "wanna do it because we might die tomorrow" scenarios.

I just have to say that I seriously, seriously think that Vega will be an LI. Heck, we can romance Chobot and Steve. Vega is a squaddie. And the only male squaddie if you don't like Kaidan. Now, I Love Kaidan . I'm just saying that not every FemShep likes Kaidan. So, who do you have, if you wanna romance a human male....Vega.

Jacob is barely in the game. That's not a proper romance subplot.

And that tweet sounded like a YES to me. Even the "Au Naturel hash tag seemed like a hidden clue! Yes, I said it. A hidden clue. lol

But that's part of the fun. Not knowing. That, too makes it more organic. Cuz irl you don't have a guarentee that someone you think is interesting is going to be available. So, it adds sum extra spice.  Right?

(I would be heart broken if Vega wasn't available)

No No I welcome new teamates the more the merrier . But do they all have to be LI no and so late in the game no. and If my female shep first slep with Kadin and then Fish-boy and now Vega .......**** or man-****. I just don't see the need for it.

So, considering Shepard's rank and Vega's apparent hero worship of Shepard, I see a more drawn out road to romance. Shep is abt. the only one that doesn't mind breaking frat. regs. Along w/ stealing the Normandy.

For others, it may take some convincing. lol

I think there will prolly be hesitation and uncertainty about getting involved w/ Shepard. It would be odd otherwise. But as time goes by, I think it will end up being a good romance.

Wow, I didn't know this. I'd like to know if this will be like Isabela with Fenris. I hated it, even when I was romancing other character xD Surely I'll hate it here too *all's mine* x/////D

btw, I'm new to this thread, and want to show my love for Vega! If Bioware doesn't make him a LI.. I don't want even to think about it, it would be cruel

@rapscalion if they want to play it a bit more conservative than they did with Alistair I wouldn't mind. Or even Morigan, I mean yeah you could share tents easily enough but getting her to fall for you was a bit more difficult even after you consider her plan.

I like how optimistic you are, rapscallioness. It makes me feel a bit hopeful.

I am definitely interested in seeing how Vega's hero worship plays out in regards to how he and Shep interact with one another.

Sort of tangential, but this vein of discussion makes me hope that we can get some background-specific dialogue with him as well. Since my Shep has the Sole Survivor background, it will be interesting to see if there is any relatability to whatever happened to him with Fehl.

II came by here to see if Vega was yet confirmed for a Femshep LI. Seems Vega hasn't been confirmed yet?
I've been rather harsh on ol' Vega just from the look of the character "Buff Roid Rage with a Fohowk" is what I've said. Given I've didn't like Samara and Jack based off their looks before ME2 came out and Since then Samara and Jack have become 2 of my favorite characters in ME. So Here is to hoping Vega is a cool and interesting character in ME3.

Romance/character threads are somehow immune... I don't know to which degree, but they are resistant. I remember what was going on in Miranda's thread after leak:o

And the source of latest news isn't the leaked demo, so it's more of "rumors" category - "some people said". Another thing is that all not officially confirmed statements to this date were proven to be true.

Y'know, I still have pretty solid confidence that Vega is an LI because of some things the devs have said, most notably Caroline Livingstone. She said that working with Freddie Prinze, Jr in the booth was a lot of fun, and even made her blush. Hm, I wonder why he'd make her blush...

And that was said about a month ago, when the GTTV feature on ME3 aired. I know she also tweeted it at one point in time, but I don't know exactly when. That's when things were pretty much set in stone. I'd trust insinuations like that over data pulled from beta-code demos (the current demo is NOT finished code) and/or old builds.

@mineralica - They do seem strangely immune, however is it a chance people are willing to take? Miri's thread is darn near impossible to keep up with in the first place, though. XD I do know the devs lurk in the character threads quite a bit, so it's not outside the realm of possibility. The leaked beta script is pretty accurate, I do know that much...but these latest "rumors" (which people are insisting on passing off as fact) are pretty much the same classification of spoiler: stuff ripped from sub-par code and being paraded around as "official." Discussing anything not out and confirmed by a dev themselves publicly is still considered discussing leaks, no matter which way you slice it.

For petes sake this has nothing to do with Miranda, some of the Mirandanizers seem to have the worst aspects of Miranda in them.
I hope Vega is a cool character and is very well done with lots of depth to him. Someone believable and with a decent back story. As of now my Shepard don't have any real Human pals like Thane and Garrus, Kaidan is dead he creeped me out, and Jacob T. well I really won't miss him. Hope Vega is a decent character and I'm once again proven wrong on disliking a newbie bassed off how they look.

You have point about discussing leak.

'sigh' I don't know what to expect from ME3 now - my predictions were proven wrong repeatedly. I don't even remember the last ME related thing I guessed correctly. So probably guessing won't give anything and I should just wait this damn two weeks.

If not, I'm not going to be horribly disappointed and shout curses at BioWare, but I do have one Shepard that will be very lonely if Vega is in a friends-only zone.
Even if there's no achievement for it... maybe at least there will be some angry renegade sex, like with Jack.

I would hardly count that as evidence that he is a LI based on Caroline's tweet. Vega flirts with FemShep in the game, and she could have easily blushed from that.
