Pretty much. Yep. There are some who proclaim to actually know, but after getting trolled really good over in another thread, I'm taking what some people claim with a grain of salt.

You know, just because I want my femshep to be able to get into Vega's pants doesn't mean I don't appreciate him as a potential awesome bromance! 

I don't need to argue about Vega's bromance because I know it will be awesome.

I love his bromance stuff, I want him as a LI because of that, he reminds me of Varric without the chest hair. Based on the tweet from mac he is a cool laid back guy with a witty, mischievous, and headstrong personality. What is not to love?

& Yes Aurora that dialogue is awesome!

Whoever it was demostrating the game during one of those Bioware videos say that Vega + Garrus + Biotic Shepard = the ultimate killing machine. Not sure if it matters if Shepard is an adept, vanguard, or sentinel.

I'm going to alternatively take him, Garrus and SecretAlienSquaddie™ with me all the freaking time. In moments like this I wish we could take three squad members with Shepard, like in Dragon Age.

We really don't know for sure but it's looking increasingly likely that Vega's romance is more of a flirtation because he doesn't want to be distracted from the mission.
