I mean, I had a chat with him the minute I could (we 'danced' as he called it), then after every mission I visited him on the Citadel and the Normandy and I don't remember having this option appear once. O.o

at one point in the story Sam will tell you james wants to speak with you just go to your cabin and press the invite james button that appears by the pc
and romancing has nothing to do with it

You have to end the spar on a positive note, according to the guide.
I think that means agreeing/being sympathetic towards him. Possibly not taking the renegade interrupts. Not completely sure.

And I did.
The only interruption I took was the Paragon one at the end. Oh well, I'll only get shot of this tatoo scene on small pictures I guess.

Thanks everyone for reminding me to invite James up to my cabin, I almost missed it. haha. So I've been really enjoying the game. I got the game and guide at the midnight release so I found out James wasn't a LI at the very start but I always have him on my squad and hes still a very cool character!

Because romancing Steve or Kaidan may be tempting, but (at least with Kaidan) I would be forcing myself to play through it. I'm not really interested in his character.
So I'm seriously considering leaving my single Shepard, well, single. In my headcanon tons of things can happen, but for this playthrough I think I'm gonna just... flirt with Vega. And see where it goes...

Okay, played the game and didn't expect to like Vega as much as I did. Didn't expect to hate him but I was pretty meh. Somehow he stole my heart the moment he started to call Shep Lola. And it was fun for my femshep to do the friendly flirting while Kaidan was still being all "How do you know you're not mind controled/Cerberus monster/Wow EDI's body is hot"

So James has been flirting with my FemShep for a while now on Femshep/Garrus profile. He didn't do this alot with my Femshep/Kaidan one. Is it cause I have a bit of renegade on me?
