Kaidan's Mediterranean, right?  And Cortez has to be at least half-black with how dark he is.  Not sure where he got blue eyes, though o_O

Don't get me wrong. I'd love to learn more about Vega, but after getting shafted in the ending(s) in ME3, smacked in the face on Deception, and kicked in the guts with DA2.... I have lost a lot of faith in Bioware.

If it weren't for Anderson and Jacob (Even with the obvious stereotype **** he pulls), my femshep would have felt singled out. As a black female who enjoys all colors of the rainbow...go racial diversity!

There are dark skinned people with blue eyes, though rare. My niece is one.

 I've started my second play-through, hardcore renegade Shepard and taking those renegade interrupts, giving him a bloody nose, and then telling him not to call me Loco made me a little sad, especially when he said something like "whatever... Commander"

That's what bugged me most about Jacob; very stereotypical behaviour.

I honestly thought Vega was going to be as generic as Jacob but Freddie Prinze Jr. made him standout ALOT, I'd put him up there as one of my bros along with Garrus

I'm more curious why Vega's Spanish doesn't translate. What's the point of having translators if he's still speaking Spanish?

Sad that James isn't a romance option. It would have been so easy to complete, the foundation is all there. Lucky I like Garrus or my femsheps would be SOL unless they happen to enjoy the ladies. Sigh...

when i first saw pictures of vega, i was disappointed, thought i was going to hate him.
then i found out freddie prince jr was his voice actor, thought i was going to hate him even more.

finally got the game, FULLY expecting to completely hate the guy. but damn! he's pretty awesome. hell i like him more than most of the ME2 cast. certainly better than "im a krogan and thats my entire personality lol" grunt thats for sure.

He's not to far away from the elevators near the Citadel offices. I've had a problem finding people and items in this game so far. You have to look at the JUST RIGHT or you'll never see the marker pop up showing you can talk to people or pick things up. If you find James and can't talk to him (like I couldn't), try walking around him or looking at him from another angle. I know some of you are doing it anyway.

I've tried to talk to him from different angles but it still wont let me speak to him :'( Any ideas why?

So... I'm curious about two things:

-At what point of the game does the Vega flirting start? So far I've played the match, and told him the nickname was ok.

-Is the flirty dialogue the same for male and female Shepard?

Actually, it's kind of sad that it stops after the tatoo scene. or it did for me... He was the only bright spot after Thane died. *runs off sobbing*
