How long till someone hacks the game for a mod where we can make the Vega model our Shepard? Female Shepard so I can have him romance Kaidan if he is not "bi" in the game?

Not long I imagine. I give it a month, if that, after the game comes out.  Since I don't have the game for pc, I'll be watching it on youtube, I'm sure. ^_^

Some have already tried - all of the .pcc files containing the models are in the demo (including the spoiler squadmates) but are built totally different from ME2. The guy who built the program to extract the models from ME2 won't be looking at ME3 until it's release date - unfortunately...and here I thought Russians loved to crack everything open. <_<

Since for some reason someone started a new thread, let me reintroduce myself. My name is none of your business and I think Vega is roided up tool in jarhead form that had no freaking reason to be put in the game over bringing in a ME 2 character with previous history with Shep :)

Shepard: Those are fangirls ... and you have my pity.
James: Fangirls scare me.
Shepard: *comforting hand on his shoulder* They scare the sh!t out of me too.

Don't worry, buddy. Unless your favorite was Jacob, you'll get a chance for some quality time with most of the ME2 cast in missions tailored for them in ME3. That's a lot better than us VS fans got in ME2.

LOL. Say what now Mr. OP ?! :P I am just here to help! I am not doing all your dirty work! ;)

But to comment on the junk in the thread, I agree with Chewin, the junk is fine for now, when ME3 comes out I'd say we take out a lot of the clutter like the tweets and some of the screenshots and organize it better. I already have a pretty good idea on what needs to be added or taken out. :P

Sounds good. We can discuss this further via PMs later.

Sounds good!

Also Welcome Sane! ^_^ *passes around the Vega cookies*

Yeah what Abispa said, it wont last long.

Speaking of which I am still laughing over this picture I found on Tumblr!

hahaha poor Vega <3 Maybe that is why the ME3 demo lacked proper eyeshadow colors! In ME3 Vega will be doing the makeup for fem Shepard during his off time. :P

This is his SECOND thread. The OP for the last one had to leave for over a month and since he could not continue a new OP started this one.

Check the old one out at http://social.biowar...5/index/7562922

Ha! That certainly seems to be the case with anything ME.

I'm actually surprised the forum isn't already inundated with spoilers galore. Maybe the same files that were leaked before are the same ones in this demo, so we'll be relatively safe from other spoilers getting out.

One spoiler I wouldn't mind is finding out if James is available for both manShep and femShep.

That depends on who your LI was from ME 2 :/ Just saying there was no reason to introduce new people when you had so many to already work with. Don't really care how interesting they attempt to make Vega, going to resent seeing him in my squad on princible. At least a little anyway.

It's a third game in a series - you can't realistically expect not to have new characters. And with 10 squadmates deaths in the previous game (I'm totally disregarding Tali and Garrus who are outliars in this case) it's innevitable that you're going to have at least ONE new guy. As for the ten other squadmates...there are only so much you can do with them. What more can you possibly talk to these characters about? What are they doing here on the Normandy? Should they be somewhere else? Etc. Etc. What are you going to do? Potentially have only two squadmates? Punishment for killing the squad - yes. But killing the squad should really have plot relevant consequences - not really gameplay ones.

@scpulley so you're pissed off about bringing Vega to the party but are remarkably silent regarding Trainer, Cortez and Allers. Personally I didn't much care for the characters in ME 2, they were fairly one note and two dimensional. I.E. Miranda and her father issues, Grunt and anger management, Jack and being a bi*** to keep people away, Jacob and a lack of personality, Thane and his legacy, Samara and duality, and on and on.

Am I seriously the only person on the BSN that was disappointed that we didn't get a bunch of more new squaddies? I get that we already have the old ones to work with, but part of the enjoyment of Mass Effect 2 for me was meeting a new group of awesome characters. When I heard that James was pretty much the only new squaddie I felt "meh" about it. Of course, I really love James so far, but I wish there had been at least one or two more.

I agree!

At first I kinda was disappointed, too. When the number of squaddies went from 6 in ME to 12 in ME2, I felt like having that many more squaddies had been the best idea ever. Doing all those recruitments and LMs and trying that many combinations of squadmates made ME2 a much more replayable, enjoyable game, IMO. I initially disliked the idea of having a smaller combat squad in ME3. But the promise of being capable of interacting in a better way with your squad has made me get over that.

Edit: I'm adding this just for kicks because there's no such thing as a page with too much Vega hotness.
