Don't mean to offend, just making an observation on looks alone. For the record, I did like James. But I just can't help but think "James Vega!" when I'm flicking through the channels and stop at MTV and Ronnie's on the screen.

Oh, none taken. I don't see the resemblance at all, though. I've never seen the show, but the pics you posted... that guy looks soft to me, not ripped and athletic like James. An occasional gym rat, not an actual active person.

Just got back from a 3 day camping trip, no internet.  Swooned on the pictures, got the smelling salts good again   I'm kind of thinking that I like the interactions the way they are now, I like the flirting, I think it's cute when he gets nervous and from there that's when I'd like to have the loyalty mission, and then by proving yourself (for lack of better description) he just can't control himself and he confesses either dirty thoughts or really romantic thoughts about your Shep   And I completely agree, no matter who your LI is you should be able to kiss or hold hands whenever you want. Definitely would like to see more touching. Something as simple as your LI letting you walk through a door/hallway first (or whatever) but then putting their hand on the small of your back.

I agree with all of it. 

But, i think most people would like to know a bit more about James, he's kind of a mystery to everyone and it would be nice to get a bit more information on him in game. Also i think for those people who want to keep the relationship friendly you should have that choice Eg.some people i have noticed don't like the flirting and find it to be forced, (myself not included i love it), so it would be nice if there was a way to either keep it friendly and professional, or start a budding romance maybe with the nickname, you accept it piques his interest, you decline you want to keep it just buds.

I know what you mean, there should have been an option for not having him flirt with you if you didn't want it.  Like you, I was all for it   I also kind of liked that you didn't know if it was friendly or if he was interested.  Then Bioware ruined it *sigh*  I completely agree, would have loved more info on him in game, like what someone suggested previously, like a loyalty type mission like in ME2!
