Why hasn't a Bioware employee stopped by this thread yet? It seems all the other major characters have some comment from them, though I'm not sure what. (I wish there was a link that you could click that would take you right to their comments so you wouldn't have to try and scroll through every page to see what they said!)

See you have to be loud for someone to look in your direction, or at least that's the lesson I'm getting here.    Because I tihnk between this thread and the other DLC petition thread for Vega we have had some very constructive feedback for the Bioware staff on how to best intigrate some Vega love!!

I really love him (which is quite an accomplishment, considering he's only "been with us" in the last game). Even more for the way he acts, than the way he looks though (not that there is something wrong with his looks, I think he is very sexy... which is álso an accomplishment, considering "all muscly" is normally not my thing). I think he really is a nice guy, a cool and funny guy and he has some interesting, emotional depth to him). Can't wait to see more of him somehow!

Okay, Vega fans, listen up: 

I've been writing my ass off and I'm almost done with Part 1 of the James Vega: Origins story. It will put my other two stories to shame. First chapter will be posted on July 7th. 

I promise to have you all overdosing on James before it's over! Part 1 will cover his family dynamics, who the original Lola was and why he was so obsessed with her, plus give you some great insight into how he became the hottie we all know and love.

Question: What is the best place to post the chapters? Fanfiction.net, deviantArt, or a separate blog with an RSS feed so you can get them via email? I will likely do all three, but I will want to know which place to post first.

My lovely femshep doesn't want a 'bro' moment, she wants to be told to be strong and give em hell then be wrapped up in his arms for a romantic toe curling kiss goodbye. *Sigh*

So, reading all the threads/comments about peoples idea's on SP DLC, mainly the idea of a Retake Omega DLC, I was thinking that this would also be a really good dlc to include the Vega romance into.
It would be one of those mission’s where you have to take a certain squad member eg, like EDI for the Cerberus base, but you have to take James.
Now you could also use this as a means for people and Shepard to get to know him and how he ended up ‘guarding’ the brig and her, so it would be a good way to use the info from ‘Conviction’.
It would also be a good way to advance the relationship for those interested, or for those that just want to know more about our wonderful Lt. Vega.   So it would be a win all round.  

Opinions? Ideas?

I'm sorry, but I hated Vega immensely when I couldn't completely reject his flirting throughout the game, with Bioware having the nerve to make the phrase "You ever gonna make good on all this flirting" auto-dialogue when my Shep's happily involved with Garrus.

No offense to Vega-mancers, he's just not my cup of tea.

Which is fine, but what we want is on option to turn it on or off basically, so that If you want to romance and flirt you can, or if you want to keep it friendly that's the way it stays. Which is kind of how it is with the other LI's in the game, so this way it gives everyone what they want.

You inspired a whole new scene in the new story with this comment. I was up until 3 am writing it.

I went into ME3 COMPLETELY expecting to hate Vega.

Never did. He was just generally likable as a character. He always had something simple but interesting to say. I enjoyed having him in my squad during missions, even though I usually brough Garrus and Kaidan because they senegized better with me.

Out of curiosity, What do you guys think Vega would say about some of the Romance Squaddies from ME2? I'm interested in a good laugh at the moment.

Here's a line from one of my stories, when they are on the Grissom Academy mission (the one where they help Jack and her students):

"Naturally, Jack took a swing at her when the fight stopped. Shepard let it connect, knowing there wouldn't be much force behind it. This was the way Jack blew off steam. It kind of reminded her of… she glanced at James and suddenly regretted bringing him. Or running into her. Or something, she didn't want to get into it there. Distractions[/i].

"As for James, he thought Jack looked like a ticking time bomb. A full biotic who sucker-punched Shepard? Looked like she'd been through the wringer, too, even though her tragic tattoos were kind of hot. Someone like that without biotics was a stalking waiting to happen, but her? No, thank you. Too high maintenance for his taste. He kept his eyes on the exits, waiting for Cerberus to make their move."

I don't know if that's funny enough for you, but that's what popped into my head.
