Yeah, I love this one. The first one is great too, but the second gives Weapon Damage bonus and also makes him look less bulky, haha. And I like the colours very much.
The only no-go for me is the third. That visor thingie...

I think these threads are second for all characters I suggest giving them a read. I finished Jack's and learned a lot about the game, the character and the fanbase

Before knowing Kaidan was an option (ME3 was the first game in the series I played) I was all down on trying to get this guy kkk I don't understand the hate he gets, he is a nice guy (a bit stereotypic, but I enjoyed him anyway). I never understood it either, but I guess there are two sides. The folks that find aliens much more exciting and thus it makes the humans boring to them, and then there's us, the ones that can relate to the normal, "boring" people and find interactions with them much more interesting James and Kaidan are my 2 favourite people in ME. I also like Garrus and Tali etc., but I cannot relate to them as much as I can to James and Kaidan.

I just created another FemShep yesterday and thought about dating Garrus this time ... but I don't know yet. Look at his mouth - how can they kiss, physically? And it also feels like dating a skeleton

Well, at first I also didn't like him too much, he looked so much like the stereotypical american, hyper-patriotic macho-marine, bah. But no, the more time you spend with and talk to him you see that there's more behind the facade
I will find out how that works, hahaha. If it's too awkward I'll just play through as quick as possible
It's a weird "romance" with James, agreed, but one that fits my current Shepard perfectly, that's why I'll do it. And even though Shepard comes on strong there you can see she's actually hurting when he first turns her down. And James, well... it's complicated, haha. He's tempted but torn. Just go for it, Vega! You know you want it
My first impression of him was that he's so damn sassy, but he quickly grew on me. Like, very quickly! And I love characters that come across like that, and then you discover a different side of them. Totally my type of character. He's funny, determined, strong, not afraid to voice opinions, but he's also sensitive and very caring.

That's exactly what I think... and imagine things going further than the kiss. I'm certainly not willing to go there D= Garus is a good buddy, but I don't think I can romance him or any of the other aliens... its just...well... >_<

While I totally get the appeal of him as an LI and kind of want to try it at some point, he's my buddy. He saves my ass and we shoot cans off the Presidium and it's all good that way. And I just realized that I've friend-zoned a video game character.

On topic, James grew on me but in a different way. I was not very interested in him initially, because he seemed too much like Ash in terms of loyalty to Alliance and all the soldier stuff. But after taking him with me, I realized that he also has a non-formal side and likes to mix it up.

Oh gosh, Javik is just... STRANGE! On the one hand, it's so damn awkwardly funny and stupid, and on the other I really want to forget that I ever watched this scene.
I agree there are better ways to do that btw, just... I'm thinking that James needs the alcohol to overcome his own fear and worries. He would need it to make it easier for him, loosen up the tension. I mean, it's even him that brings alcohol into play. I'm not totally defending what they did there, but I can understand too.
Shepard's sentences after that are what makes it quite bad imo, but then she's very horrible at flirting, haha. I just remember Jacob. Ew. I didn't talk to him in my current run because that woman was outta control!

Today I started reading this thread from page 1 on, finally through with the old one, and it's heartbreaking to see how many wanted to romance James, and how they lost hope after some guy came in and said he had a good source that said he's no romance. Kinda makes me sad, they've been pumped for half a year and then their dreams all got crushed. Another reason not to get your hopes up to high before a game comes out.

Why, Biowaaaare? That would've been perfect, so perfect. It makes me really sad it was scrapped as it would've fit so well between those two, but at least in one aspect I'm happy. This is exactly how I pictured James. More feelings for Shepard than he can show/allow himself, mission and regs come first.

Aww, that is so sweet. It's really sad wen I see cut content like this, like the mshepXkaidan romance lines in ME1. At least with that the likes were still in the game's code, and I wish this was burried somewere in ME3's codes too >_<
