I don't know how to do the color thing in the forums but if you go on Dana's blog and go towards the end part of James Vega's stuff the third dialogue bunch before Thane it shows progression. Then again in that part he only mentions Lola not Loco

I wouldn't trust Dana's blog. She puts lines together that are actually separate, and makes assumptions.
It's better to read the script yourself.

No I read the script I only referenced Dana because I did not know how to color my text so you knew what line I was talking about. That part I am referencing is in the script I saw it for myself even before I knew Dana's blog existed.

Anwyays, I will not believe he is not a LI until I see it because it makes no sense in the least that in the case of femshep, that she is not getting any new o/s LI's when they can all be dead by ME3 for a new player.

It is NOT a spoiler to say that a person THINKS James is not a LI since it has not been proven either way. There is so much back and forth in the leaks and ambiguity in the script that I just give up and go with what I know...

Shepard (male and female) is going to be drilling a peep hole in Vega's shower first thing. Maybe Vega will be kind enough to be like that one guy in the Porky's movie...





SHEPARD: I will poke you with my finger!

Anyway, it's a rather unimportant point. In the script, you could tell Kelly you're with Vega. So if Vega's not an option, they apparently scrapped his romance. Which might make sense considering there's no actual romance in the files (tidbits don't count).

If they make Garrus a new option, then all new female Shepards would have him.

That doesn't account for those in saves that have Garrus dead for either a new ME3 or a returning ME3 player. Male Shepard always has one o/s LI alive even if he killed all the rest (Liara), so why would femshep not have a LI incase all o/s LI's are dead?

1. No proof Garrus is a new romance

2. Plenty of players have Kaidan dead.

3. Why should she be restricted to just Garrus or Kaidan when Dude Shep gets 3 new options?

Looking at ME1/ME2:

Female Shepard heterosexual light/full romance options: 4 (notice the complete absence of any light options)
Kaidan
Jacob
Thane
Garrus

Female Shepard homosexual light/full romance options: 6
Liara
Kelly
Samara
Shiala
Morinth
Consort

Male Shepard heterosexual light/full romance options: 11
Ashley
Liara
Tali
Miranda
Jack
Kelly
Samara
Shiala
Morinth
Consort
Gianna

Going just by that, they're going to favor heterosexual options for male Shepard, then homosexual options for female Shepard, and lastly heterosexual options for female Shepard.

New female Shepards would have to select Kaidan to die specifically, because the other two options are Kaidan alive. If you didn't choose to save the male sounding guy who would have a "strong bond" with you...well, tough luck.
Imported Shepards had 3 heterosexual options in ME2. So they're covered in that regard.

Overall it's going to be unlikely that female Shepard has no heterosexual option unless the player does something unlikely or they're basically asking for it.

I don't believe it. No way is he not a LI. It's not the fangirl in me being in denial; it just wouldn't make sense that there would be no new o/s LI for femShep when manShep gets some. Bioware may have done some questionable things in the past (I'm looking at you DA2!), but I don't think they'd do this.

The only thing I wonder about James is if he's bi. I hope he is. Everyone needs some of that Vega love. <3

I've got a femShep already and waiting for James. But I want others to be able to have some love too.
And if Vega isn't (for some irrational reason) a LI, I won't sweat it. Bioware can't touch my head canon.

If Ash is dead then MShep does have Liara...TBH. MShep always has a full female romance option.
