Well this is just silly....I can understand why BW has done it though, extremists make a lot of noise, play safe by not disturbing the 'snake pit'....it's a damned shame BW or anybody/organization for that matter have to take such precautions...the extremists really are very loud and know how to get attention.
Funny thing is
p.s. I got nothing against it btw

I agree, many people do not know what a feminist means. If you believe that women and men should be equal, you are by basic definition a feminist. however common image of a feminist is a "man-hater" that media protrays which is an extreme.
People love to say it's about equal rights, but it often isn't.
Equal rights: Anderson grabs both male and female Shep by the chest.
Yet most feminists would absolutely never support that.
Your evidence? I'm a feminist and I'm fine with it.
If anyone went back to that other thread they'd find out that the only people who purported to be outraged were kidding. Pretty much everyone except the OP (troll?) were fine with Anderson touching FemShep's boobs in order to save her life. Not an issue.

I think it’s a term that is overused and over-analyzed. I wonder how many “feminist” are proactively working for and advocating betterment for women and how many just go around pointing out when someone is being sexist. One of these things is not like the other. If you just believe that women should have the same social, political and economical rights as men. A lot of men believe that too. It’s called believing in human rights. And that’s not exclusive to women.

Eternal was referring to the people who claim to be feminists when their actions and beliefs are not feministic. Those who claim they want equality but then demand to be treated all special because they're women. Basically, they don't want to be equals; what they want is to have everything that benefits women, including the double standards, on top of being "equals" when those things do not benefit them despite that not being close to true equality.
There was a thread months ago with these same people saying it was somehow sexist or degrading to women for Anderson to save FemShep from falling to her death by catching he

Ok, but that wasn't what was said.
Go back to the thread. No one was saying it was sexist or degrading except the trolls.

Why are female Shepard's boobs somehow more taboo than the male's anyway? It's not like they're a sexual organ. In Europe, chicks frequently swim topless. I bet a hundred years down the line boobs on a woman won't be any more horrifying to the general public than boobs on a guy.
I doubt it. It is somehow taboo to show nudity in a movie with a 10pm start time on a weeknight, but it is totally fine to show uncensored, excessive gore that would make Vlad the Impaler cringe at a 4/5/6pm start time.

Gender-specific, totally harmless difference in animations causes BSN to crap out a 10-page anti-feminism thread about how "Bioware's pandering to teh feminists!"
Not anti-feminism, anti-hypocrites-distorting-the-meaning-ism. If you demand true gender equality and then call a man a lazy ****** because he wants to be a stay-at-home father, then that is saying "I only demand equality when double standards do not benefit me". I work with a lot of fathers who make much less and actually want to be a stay-at-home dad yet their wife won't let them because it isn't "manly".

I have had to grab a woman to save her from falling into a puddle, where afterwards she remarks that I touched her breast. I certainly hadn't noticed. Seriously, ladies, if the back of a guys hand skims the side of your breast, don't say anything if it was unintentional. The only possible outcomes are a fight or a really stupid conversation.
This; a confident, strong, rational woman would realize it was unintentional and either ignore it or make a joke out of it.

Something like this popped into my head...
"You touched my breast, you male chauvanist pig!"
"That's right. I intentionally reached for that spot when catching you, just so I could cop a feel. What can I say, I'll take any chance I can."

What interpersonal issues? It was merely an example. Had I been talking about my experiences, I would have specifically stated it was my experience.

I don't think it is a strawman argument since I was talking about the hypocrites rather than actual feminists; I might be misinterpretting though.

Some spoilers but shep is falling in a scene and he catches Shepard differently based on gender. Basically grabs male shep by the chest using his entire arm but fem shep by the shirt from her back. He was saving her life, would people really have an issue with him grabbing her chest to save her?
I remember that this topic was discussed a few months back. Ironically, a lot of people had an issue with it.
No, they didn't. Go back and read it again.
