A suggestion... if one player has a fast firing automatic weapon, you can keep the Phantom's evading constantly (locking her down a bit) while another player lines up some powers, or grenades for a kill.

... or you could always break her sword... :whistle:

Im still confuddled. I got a code over the weekend to download the demo but cant access the MP. Do i still need to wait intill the 17th?

Yes, that code was only for single player access.

A warning to anyone thinking of buying just the online pass, it doesn't appear to work.
I got a pass from a friend who had a spare and i've entered the code. I've had the demo early access for a couple of days but it wont let me play.
It seems you need the full battlfield game not just the online code.

I know sometimes PC download stuff gets put up early than announced, wish it would happen this time with the demo and those l33t h4xx0rz would find the link!

@Nashiktal : Ahh then it would require a rental + buying the pass. Still, that'd be cheaper then the full game heh.

Also D-pad is not for reviving teammates specifically its for bonus stuff. Which you can set your loadout I think with different things or maybe you just have specific numbered uses that isn't individual games related but overall.

Either way holding A should be it as that's whats used to 'activate' things. Walk up, and hold A. Don't have the demo my self but that's what would make more sense, more so from videos ive been watching. All the D-pad stuff seems to be numbered use type things - and you can revive in single player too. Should work same way.

Yes, it's a great help to tell people where the enemy are coming from and what to expect.

No, once it looses its last bit of Amror it blows up.  You can't pilot it.  Trust me I tried.  I have killed 10 of them and every single one blows up at the last shot.  :unsure:


I'm starting to think that we can't really stole it in battle. I think there will be one or two situations in SP where we will be allowed to do that. It or they don't put that function in the demo...

Or you can charge, melee, shotty.

Or charge, melee, heavy melee.  Works for me.

In all likelihood, the scenario in the story portion of the demo is the Atlas introduction scene, so it serves as a boss fight.  Later on in the game, we'll probably be able to take it.

And if we were able to hijack an Atlas in multiplayer, it'd break the mode.

Ok.......so I just finished a 4 hour session. MP is addictive...very addictive. The real key is hooking up with a squad of decent players. I rolled with 3 other guys and we had a balanced party: a solider, an adept, an engineer, and an infiltrator. We actually managed to win a few games.

Minor spoiler: all you see is a screen that says N7 once you finish the evacuation after the 10th wave.

Here are a few details you might want to know:
-Save your credits for the Veteran package. This is how you unlock new guns and the best gun mods
-Make sure you party has someone who can perform CC. Leveled up Frag Grenades or Singularity work pretty well against clustered groups.
-Fully leveled Overload will make short work of an Atlas mech.
-Unless you just want a challenge stay away from the Sentinel class. Its primary skill Tech Armor didn't prove to be very useful.
-Invest in Fitness. You will die....a lot. Leveling up your health and shields DOES make a big difference especially in the last few waves.
-Don't try and play an Adept with just a pistol. I mean, if you are REALLY good go for it, but I would stick with the AR/Pistol combo. The extra recharge time doesn't make up for the lack of a primary weapon.
-Infiltrators make great medics. If you team is getting killed a lot and you are playing as an Infiltrator just cloak and go revive your team mates. You will be surprised at how many revives you can get in one match.

This strategy kind of works, if you can lure the Phantom into a narrow hallway that limits her movement.  And how do you break their swords?!?!?!?!?:pinched:
