A couple of things to note:
- Depending on the platform on which you play, it may take a while before MP is up and ready for you to download. Typically, Xbox 360 users are the first to download and play, as Microsoft tends to submit very early on the day of release. However, the difference is usually no longer than five to eight hours (tops).
- Post things about MP, not about the Singleplayer demo. There's already a thread about it, which can be found here.

2) the only publicly accessible demo right now is the 360 early access one. If you have item (1), you can play MP on Xbox right now but may have trouble finding other players

- note there are more enemy types in full game MP. Demo is only Cerberus for now.
- you can customize your character appearance, powers - you slowly unlock the ability to customize your appearance more and more.
- weapon benches are in there yes.
- you can also equip 3 equipment slots for things like ammo, self-rez stuff like that
- im not sure what the difference is between the MP and SP powers (if anything)
- there are 3 difficulty settings for a match: bronze/silver/gold and they get a LOT harder past bronze from what I hear
