Can someone tell me why the Nemesis sounds so weird?
Maybe it's because it can drop your shields/health in 1 hit

I played one round with a random player earlier, we got to the second wave, just the two of us. I'm quite liking it. Played mostly by myself - few people in the public room, but whatevs, built myself up to level 2 and ready for more!
Looking forward to more people joining in. I'm quite excited about it - which surprised me, I did not expect it to be this much fun.

No, I mean when she speaks. It sounds like some really bad voice emulator.
Knowing Cerberus, "she" may not be human at all.

Most of my issues involve stuff that will be solved with experience or involving weapon and power modifications. Also a problem is that getting four people in a match is hard, and Bioware wasn't kidding when they said you wouldn't want to do it solo, because it's hard even on Bronze.
I do wonder how mission success and failures factor into the galactic readiness score for the campaign. Is it based on experience you get as a single character you import to SP? Likely I won't figure it out until launch.
I actually look forward to playing MP once the game comes out, which is surprising for me.

Actually, this is incorrect. I'm sure that BioWare said that they were planning on MP since ME1, they just didn't feel it was right for the game until the end of the series. Also, they stated theye have been working on it since ME2 was in development.King Minos wrote...

Ugh, can't believe people are enjoying this.
Oh no Bioware did something good.
I'm gonna go **** about it.
The reason why i **** about this because if this turns out to be good, then that means multiplayer has more of a focus in the future, and it also means that Bioware can add on another tacky multiplayer mode with more colours and explosions.
I hope this fails, because then it shows that adding multiplayer does not always make the game a success and instantly cool.
Seriously, every company is doing this just because it's the new craze, multiplayer is just being added on just for the hell of it.
This adding multiplayer is killing single player games. That is why I am so pissed off, if Bioware knows they can get away with it, then they will continue to keep doing it.
And if multiplayer gets a signifcant focus in the future, the single player content and quality will slowly diminish.
We also have ****tards complaining that the story is too complicated and so Bioware focus more on them than us original fans, gaming is falling apart.
On another note, Multiplayer definitely does not increase a games sales, just the longevity(hopefully). People look for specific things in their games, or for specific series. And just because a game has multiplayer, that doesn't mean that the developers spend any less time with single player experience. I'm just trying to say, crash or burn, this MP will affect nothing other than itself.

While that's true, she is a human, because I saw her fleshy bits get scattered everywhere plenty of times.

Can anyone comment if players can join mid-game? Say if you start with only 3 and then a 4th comes in the middle or are you stuck with only 3 for the whole mission?
No, people can join mid-game if a slot is open from what I've seen.

Also, I'd like to mention that my friend unlocked a Salarian and instead of rolling to the side like humans, they do this graceful side hop, like a gazelle. Really cool that they put this variation into the animation!

I was skeptical when I first heard about it. It seems they didn't want to make this just another generic multiplayer.ODST 3 wrote...
The Sniper rifle to the head is magical. Also really love the way the classes are balanced. The variation really lends itself to multiplayer where you can experience the combination of classes working together simultaneously. I can see why Bioware has wanted to include this for awhile.
*Cough cough Bioshock*
