The Nemesis sounds sexy what are YOU talking about!
Anyway, I DID NOT know the Phantom could cloak prior to today.

No, I mean when she speaks. It sounds like some really bad voice emulator.
Knowing Cerberus, "she" may not be human at all.
While that's true, she is a human, because I saw her fleshy bits get scattered everywhere plenty of times.
Depends on how human. We see a husk get curbstomped by shepard and its insides look pretty damn human.

Correct, but you'll still have single player tomorrow if you don't already.Deltaboy37-1 wrote...

All in all, very impressed. The montreal team outdid themselves, really.
The only issue I really have is the gun sounds in the game. Without music playing you can really hear the sfx well and I was under the impression that they were going to be really beef up the gun audio from ME2, but they don't sound that much better, to be honest. Biotics sounds amazing, though.

Ever heard the Claymore shotgun up-close inside one of the prefab buildings with high dynamic range settings? THAT is amazing

The gameplay itself is a lot of fun, even playing with randoms. It's basically horde mode but you get extra tasks you have to accomplish during rounds for extra credits which really breaks everything up nicely.
Overall, It's a lot of fun. I wasn't an advocate for multiplayer in Mass Effect like many people but I really do believe Bioware pulled it off with this. I really can't wait to get stuck into more of it.

Minor spoiler: all you see is a screen that says N7 once you finish the evacuation after the 10th wave.
Here are a few details you might want to know:
-Save your credits for the Veteran package. This is how you unlock new guns and the best gun mods
-Make sure you party has someone who can perform CC. Leveled up Frag Grenades or Singularity work pretty well against clustered groups.
-Fully leveled Overload will make short work of an Atlas mech.
-Unless you just want a challenge stay away from the Sentinel class. Its primary skill Tech Armor didn't prove to be very useful.
-Invest in Fitness. You will die....a lot. Leveling up your health and shields DOES make a big difference especially in the last few waves.
-Don't try and play an Adept with just a pistol. I mean, if you are REALLY good go for it, but I would stick with the AR/Pistol combo. The extra recharge time doesn't make up for the lack of a primary weapon.
-Infiltrators make great medics. If you team is getting killed a lot and you are playing as an Infiltrator just cloak and go revive your team mates. You will be surprised at how many revives you can get in one match.

Ok.......so I just finished a 4 hour session. MP is addictive...very addictive. The real key is hooking up with a squad of decent players. I rolled with 3 other guys and we had a balanced party: a solider, an adept, an engineer, and an infiltrator. We actually managed to win a few games.

Thanks for the Overload tip I'll check it out.
But I have to disagree on the Pistol point, I'm using a Human Engineer using a upgraded pistol scope on a Phalanx II (giving me 200% recharge times) as my main weapon currently and its as quick to kill as anything else I've used if not faster.

I tried that too, Phalanx II with an improved barrell and a scope. My problem wasn't stopping power, it was running out of ammo. Unless you hang out near one of the ammo dumps I constantly found my self almost out of rounds. If you can manage to stay close to a resupply spot playing with just a pistol could work well.

Ahh fair enough there were a couple times where I fully ran out, but I still refused to use my ammo eqipment even though I have like 11 of them stored up so I blame myself for that really, but then again me and my friend worked staying well stocked up on ammo from the caches into our strategy so like I said it was rare.
(I can't help but feel I worded those sentences quite poorly).

The short recharge times on an Adept would be very manageable though, even with one weapon.mereck7980 wrote...

It's incredibly hard to die as an Infiltrator with that cloak and a seemingly infinite sprint. I ****ing love it.

Too each their own. If you try it and find it workable, by all means run with just a pistol. I wouldn't try this with just the Predator I though. The default pistol is a little underpowered. The Phalanx is far more appropriate for this playstyle.

Honestly, to those who replied to me with honest opinions i respect you and i thank you for not outright calling me a troll but for listening and responding to my posts in an adult manner. BSN does have some hope then.
I don't think you're a troll so much as slightly alarmist. Bioware/EA spent over 200 million dollars into building an actual story line into an MMO. I think you're safe as far as not losing the narrative portion of Bioware's games. And you're making several assumptions that are largely unwarranted. First of all, just because a game is single player does not mean that a developer took great care in building a good game or a great narrative. Plenty of single player games are turds with awful stories and terrible gameplay.
The inclusion of multiplayer does not mean a guaranteed success and developers know this. A bad game is a bad game regardless of it SP or MP components. Plenty of games have failed because of bad implementation. Furthermore, a company's profit is not dependent on MP. As far as Mass Effect and other narrative heavy single player games are concerned there is plenty of money to be made with DLC, LotSB and Overlord sold quite well.
If, as you claim, all games will have multiplayer and that multiplayer implementation is the key to financial success, how to you explain the many critical and financial failures of multiplayer games? Ultimately it comes down to good game design and implementation. If Bioware's multiplayer fails repeatedly it's unlikely they (or EA) will waste the money on forcing it into other games. If, however, Bioware manages to create a stellar SP and add a fun MP to their games, what's the issue?
