So how is the Multiplayer?

It's kind of like an Adept using Singularity to lift a group of enemies while a Vanguard charges and uses Nova to blow them away.

*Blissful sigh*

This stuff rocks my socks off. Fun, highly addicting, and so far uncharacteristically mature for xbl. Can't wait to dig into the real thing! ~three weeks!~

Well, after playing for about 2 hours I have to say that the MP is alot of fun.  The combat is fast and playing as different classes and races is interesting. However, just like any co-op experience you need to have a squad of 4 that talk together.  In the begining it may be easy to just get kills and not work as a team; but, once objectives are sent out the mission needs to done together.  Anyways, I hope to find many of you to play with because its been hard to find 4 slots filled.  Take care and if anyone from Bioware is to read this I would like to say thank you for doing a good job with the MP and not just adding some cheap structure.

So far I have played with people with mic's; however, I noticed that I need to speak and say hi before people started talking .

No because I don't have a mic and i don't want to play with most of the people wearing mics, because i don't
have one while the others playing have mics. So do you think most of the people playing co-op will have mics?

I have found it very beneficial to play with people who have mics. There is certainly some enemies that knowing where they are on the field is very beneficial to the team as a whole. As for most people, all I can say is it comes very naturally when playing

@shepard1038 its about 50/50. Having a mike DRASTICALLY improves the experience. If you are playing with people who aren't talking you probably won't make it past the 5th or 6th wave of a game. At least not on Silver.

I agree that it does help to know about certain enemies around the area like the cloaked "phantoms" (those are the worst).

Phantoms are mean but turrets have the power to eat your team as well

True, at that point you need to talk in order to work together and take it down while worrying about the rest of the enemies.  So what do you think of the MP?

Well, like i mentioned before I enjoy it and when it's a full lobby it's alot of fun.  (Silly question of me; I didn't know you were apart of the team. I'm new at leaving feedback; however, I thought I'd give my positive feeling on the subject since I respect that it was done properly) :D

Why thank you, I am not officially part of the mp team but know they did a very good job. I agree though being part of a full team is "magic" throwing powers around like crazy is sweet

I just played for hours with a group that happens to also be on BSN too. Great guys and great fun. This MP is so additictive. I have not unlocked any new races though but vanguard is a ton of fun.

I just put over 3 hours into it and have a TON of fun. Leveled my Turian Sentinel to level 13 before stopping (I gotta work in the am). I can't wait to get off tomorrow to continue playing!

I think BW really succeeded in making MP a major asset to ME3. I'm kinda glad and scared at the same time, mostly b/c of future products, but right now, I prefer what we have in ME3 :)

You don't need that.  It may make the experience more engrossing for some people, but it's not necessary for tactical play.

In all of the games I played with three others, we worked pretty damn well together without even talking to each other.  I played mostly as a Vanguard and I charged head first into enemies, stripping defenses and whatnot, and there was usually one person who remained way in the back to pick off at a distance, a person following relatively close behind me to revive me as necessary, and another to take advantage of the chaos I caused.

Hell, the most tactically rewarding experience I had was with an Infiltrator with my Vanguard on Silver.  Just the two of us.  Lasted a good ten rounds.  I created a bigass distraction with Charge and Nova, he picked off enemies with the sniper and used tactical cloak to move in and heal me when I died.

And in another game, with a team full of people who weren't all that great and a class I wasn't quite used to yet (Adept), my team of rookies nearly beat the entire wave because they quickly realized that they could take advantage of my signularities, especially against the riot shield guys.

Honestly, I think it's more satisfying when everyone just jumps in and knows what to do based on class and loadouts.  Much more rewarding than constantly shouting at people to do a certain thing.

I have less than zero desire to hear BSNers speak. Its rough enough to read their posts
