*doushebag time* Because the creators of this game know that I would lay such a smack down on you noobs that I would make the south park W0W bad guy look like a noob. In short none of you would stand a chance....*non doushe'iey time*...think about it...everyone would be a vanguard....Bioticcharge- nova nonstop. Other play styles would be obsolete.

All that is easily adjusted. There are only a few steps that would need to be taken, to make it work:

- reduce hard cc to around 1.5 seconds

- adjust tankyness, damage and cooldown. Once.

- allow players to shoot and use powers while lifted, at reduced accuracy

- remove proc-chance component from ammo powers, cryo only slows and so forth

- adrenaline rush removes cc and fully replenish shields

- biotic charge gets a 1.5-2 seconds channel, making it dependant on cover fire and decent positioning, landing replenishes shields

- maximum 1 of each class per 5 players on a team: making the most of the worst class becomes as useful as handling  the best one.

Has the highest shields and health in the game
can close large distances in seconds
with the reegar has some of the best offensive potential against non armored opponents (You)

Patches have not worsened the charge glitch, and as a requent Vanguard hoster I have never seen the glitch happen once while hosting. If it happens at all while hosting it is extremley rare.  It was common since launch to start floating away after dying mid charge, the patch has had no signifigant change on the glitch. 

Please try not to make **** up =) and your use of parenthesis was unessecary and simply made the sentence fluency less recognizable. If you had use the preffered punctuation of a comma it would have been far more understandable.

Bad spelling and punctuation are nothing detrimental to a post, but blaming me for your bad sentence fluency is simply childish. 





I am playing on PC and it has been as recent as yesterday when it happened to me, was a kroguard host, and i died in mid charge, i dont need to explain myself if you cant get it to your thick skull that not everyone has a perfect gaming experience. Also pre patch the glitch did not occur to me as often as it does now, not to mention i never encountered the variation where it forces me to be stuck in "sticking to wall" pose before patch. and i am not the only one who has experienced the glitch more often and worse post patch. Also i pointed out you have bad grammar understanding if you dont understand what "or" means, i dont need a lesson from someone who types frequent with out the F or extremely as extremley.

*stasis original poster* mass effect has always been a squad based game in which a small elite unit takes on a seemingly superior force person vs person changes that and it would no longer be mass effect, but some sort of gears mass effect mix. *warps original poster for biotic explosion* also some classes would be too overpowered.

So you got the VG glitch once while hosting post patch and you take that as evidence that the glitch got worse from patching? Subjective evidence that isn't recreatable is invalid. There is absolutley no hard evidence that patching has had any effect on the VG glitch. Even if you do get the VG glitch while hosing frequently it does not mean it's due to patching. You can claim all the wild **** you want, dosen't make it true. 

Also if i can not understand your poorly constructed sentences that is in regards to reading comprehension, not grammar. You used a poorly constructed sentence then complained when someone could not understand it. I simply showed you why the sentence was poorly constructed and could be misinterpreted due to your fault. Had you not QQ'd about it i would not have pointed out what you did wrong.

If only it was once, but you being the dense you, you automaticly assume that once is enough of an occurence. The claims are not just mine, read some other topics related to the issue, one can only talk about what you experience regarding these matters here, i never claimed that i can magically step into another persons body and see whats going on there, but all you need to do is play the game and read the forums, alot of people have been getting more and more bugs and glitches since the last actual patch, there never can be a 100% certainty but it is a little bit too convinient. And i could not give a flying **** about how my sentences come out, so far your the only jackass who makes a fuss over it, not to mention english never was a native language for me, so that small fact makes me care even less just to spite people like you who make a big deal about how a sentence is formed, how ****ing bored do you have to be to go that far.

You cannot have PVP in any game where credits are used to purchase gear upgrades. One side inevitably would become the default "throw the game" side, and groups would effectively set up matches to farm credits faster than they ever could in Co-Op. A friend and I had a conversation for several hours about adapting the L4D style PVP into the game, but credits were the problem in every scenario we came up with.

Ultimately we came to the conclusion that it would be possible to make a L4D style PVP system that fits the theme of Mass Effect, but it would need to be a 100% separate game mode with nothing but cosmetic upgrades unlocked through in-game achievement, NOT through rewards for winning or losing, but something is telling me BioWare won't do this for ME3. Another game later on down the line? Perhaps. But not ME3.

Yeah i can see PvP happen further down the line of the franchise, maybe an MMO or shooter with more than 4 man teams, but the current one we have would be just too awkward platform for a PvP.

What makes 1.5 seconds the right number? What makes you think an Adept/Infiltrator team--or, heck, an AV stasis sniper with a Valiant--needs more than 1.5 seconds?

So adjust everything in the game, once. That will be quick and easy, and won't possibly backfire at all. :innocent:

I understand that you've got the best of intentions, but I'm really beginning to think this isn't a well thought-out idea.

The problem is that the game has a very strong theme of galactic unity, and open world PVP goes directly against that. If the theme of the game were conflict between warring factions in the galaxy then open world PVP would be perfect, but it's not. It's about coming together to fight a seemingly insurmountable enemy that threatens the entire galaxy.

There are only two sides in this war, and it's completely unrealistic for a human player to control one of those sides. They are presented as mindless, under the direct control of the Reapers. Even Cerberus Troops are indoctrinated so heavily that there is nothing left of their former selves. Allowing players to control Reaper forces for a faction-based open-world PVP (A-La World of Warcraft) would require that they completely flesh out the Reaper faction and give them some human aspect. Intelligence. Free Will. None of those things fit the Reaper Forces in the least (note: not the Reapers themselves, just the ground troops), and there is no reason for N7 forces to fight each other.

Open world PVP would be a nightmare to balance, and would be completely against the lore.
