Hey All,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to get a hold of the level layout resource files for Dragon Age Awakening or the other DLCs. I believe there is a resource level layout for the Single Player campaign in the projects section, this contains .lvl, which is exactly what I am looking seeking for the rest of the content. Anyone know if there is an equivalent for the content? And if not is there a way to go about making them? Thanks in advance.

The .lvl files were never released for Awakening.

However I believe you can use the area layouts though it may take some trials and error about what files to include: the area layous are in [install]\\addins\\dao_prc_ep_1\\core\\env\\) and supporting art/design resource .erf files in [install]\\packages\\core_ep1\\data\\. Copying these into your override folders makes them available to the toolset but I've not tried exporting a module so I can't say what the potential side-effects would be.

If you go down this route let us know how you get on!

No worries, thanks for the response. I actually have done this before and included resource files from DLC including Awakening in my module before, but I have yet to find the .lvl as you have stated. Adding the resource files, so far I have not found any bugs, is doable just careful placement. Everything goes into the core data file of your module as near as I can tell, if you want everything from Awakening it just goes in there. But no luck on finding a way to actually edit a .lvl.

However, it might be possible though for me to eyeball the level layout I am thinking of and recreate it and go about editing that way, although I am not too sure about that, lol
