Idk about other parts of Europe, but 8th is THE release date in Poland.

Yes, in EU some stores/retailers may be shipping/selling the game from March 8 already. The official release date in Poland is March 8 now for example, but that's just EA Poland. Other regional EA departments may have set up things a bit differently

So, is it indeed possible that I get my copy on March 8 instead of March 9? Chris? Stanley? Anyone from BioWare? I would really appreciate if it any of you guys could confirm this for me.

If your order is through GAMEMANIA (mine is) you will most likely get the game on the 6th, most gamemania employees are gamers themselves(hardcore), and they don't give a fudge about the "european" release date, if it's out in the US, you'll most likely beable to pick it up, ofcourse that depends on the employee.

I live in Sweden and we have the same date 8th Mars. Usually we get it even earlier sometimes 2-3 days earlier. That is because they like happy customers, like me

Here in the states some retailers have midnight releases where they release a game 12:01 AM on the release day but technically you would still have to go to the store the day before the release.

Also when I pre-ordered Dragon Age: Origins from gamestop.com because I pre-ordered it the day or week when it became avaible for pre-order, and because of that I was eligible for the game to be sent to me a day earlier. I wasn't told (or found out about) until the last minute. Thankfully my Dad talked me into depositing the money I saved for it a day earlier otherwise I would have been overdrawn at the bank.

Games have always been released on a friday in Europe, that won't change. It's still the 9th.

EA Russia is on own wavelength again - March 7th. I guess it's more about release day in particular country than general release in region.

However the official Femshep trailer realesed by EA France stated "french release: 8 merch"

Its different for each country. When a game is released on a friday in the UK, we usually get it on thursday here in Denmark, the day before. Dont know why, but thats just how it is.

Some countrys get it on 8th, happened with other games too, in my country they release new games on thursday.

8th here in Norway as well. Seems to me most countries in Europe get their games on thursdays, with the exception of the UK which get their games on fridays. But for some reason game companies advertise the UK date as the release date for all of Europe. It's like this with pretty much every game, god knows why.
