Hey all, I had a question about the final dungeon 

I decided not to go along with Morrigan's proposal, and I'm at the final area, and to be honest, I want to use Shale instead of the Alistair...but ultimately, I don't want to die...do I need Alistair with me in the final party when fighting the archdemon?  Or will he "magically" appear and allow me to sacrifice him in the name of defeating the Blight?

You will have to take Alistair with you if you want to sacrifice him instead of yourself. Otherwise, he will stay on the gates. I always took Alistair with me so I can't really confirm if he "magically" appears, but logic says he won't.

when u dont take morrigans offer / and thus arrive with 2 wardens , from which 1 has to die.

when does the dialog option appear about who is gonig to suicide himself ?

Right after you "kill" the archdemon (ie. once you get it down to 0 health, a cutscene triggers).
