The point was to provide early access to multiplayer, not the ME3 demo itself.Jiggabod wrote...
what the hell is the point of the battlefield 3 early access deal? this is quite booty!
Says so on the card that came with the case. I quote:
"You've breen granted EARLY ACCESS TO THE MULTIPLAYER PORTION of the Mass Effect 3 demo."
Notice how that line says nothing about getting early access to the demo.
And you will get early access to multiplayer, being able to play it tomorrow while everyone else in the world has to wait until the end of the week.

Just to clarify, this means they do not actually have to play BF3 multiplayer. They must simply redeem code and then select Multiplayer from the BF3 Main Menu to tick the server. Once they have done that they are good to go.
1) Redeem your Battlefield 3 Online Pass on Xbox Marketplace, Origin, or in the Battlefield 3 game.
2) Launch Battlefield 3 and then start Multiplayer from the main menu.
a. This will set the Mass Effect 3 entitlement
b. The “Thanks for redeeming your Online Pass” message that displays confirms that your entitlement is active.
3) Start the Mass Effect 3 demo and select Multiplayer to play.

I think I'm good to go for tomorrow then. I played some BF3 multiplayer before I traded it in.Jarrett Lee wrote...

Now I may be wrong, but doesn't the PC version of BF3 not have an online pass? Or does it and I'm just wrong in saying that?
