Btw ps3 owners with BF3. I brought a standard version of BF3 for ps3 and redeemed the online code and could with no problems access the multiplayer parts of the pc version of the Mass Effect demo. So I don't think its locked to platforms and if it is they somehow confused my pc with a ps3.

In Origin, it's under free games. You can't find it with the Origin search function.

Graphics need to be way better. Hope at least it will be improved for PC-owners in the final release, since it totally sucks to play this on PC. Outdated, and totally not realistic when looking at the system spec reqs. ME2, despite it was a POS at times when it came at graphics, was way better.
Gameplay is nice, it plays smooth. Hope you can choose more answers in convos though, kinda meager.

When I try to get it with origin it says "Sorry, this service is temporarily unavailable." It does not seem like anyone else is having this problem.

Is it even possible to get the alien characters on the mulitplayer? I bought a bunch of recruit and veterans packs, no character models besides humans or such....

Got the same exact thing. At first I thought it was because of age (I am 16), but I tried the ME2 demo on origin and it let me.  I also have BF3 early access.  Kind of confused here.

However I got the demo on Xbox so it's not really a big deal, but I wanted to see how well my PC could handle ME3, since I am kind of considering getting it for both systems.

Graphics are fine people keep expecting way too much for one me3 using the same engine and client as part 2 so dont expect to much more than that pretty sure though on release they will most likely have a high res texture pack or something to patch in. Enjoy the ride their games have always been story driven first before super graphics.

 so i cant seem to download the early access despite doing what the instructions say.  i have no code to redeem. i have a pamplet that says i get early access than i have my coeds for bf3 and karkand along with the phisical warefare code . those were used ages ago when i got bf3. so where do i get the magical code? i have logged on to bf3 even launced a  multiplayer game and still cant download the early access.

i must say ea has really managed to make simple things very hard thanks to origin's 

• Redeem your Battlefield 3 Online Pass on Xbox Marketplace, Origin, or in the Battlefield 3 game.
• Launch Battlefield 3 and then start Multiplayer from the main menu.
  • This will set the Mass Effect 3 entitlement
  • The "Thanks for redeeming your Online Pass" message that displays confirms that your entitlement is active.
• Start the Mass Effect 3 Demo and select Multiplayer to play.
  • Entitlements are platform agnostic

Graphics were pretty good although I wasn't really a fan of the graphics back on Earth, but the location in part 2 looked great. The animation was incredibly smooth (aside from the awkward running animation for Captain Anderson). I love the fast reloading and obstacles. Shame we couldn't see Tali to see if she got an updated look. Overall it was a great demo and I'll be waiting for multiplayer to hold me over until my Collector's Edition is here.

Edit: And Wrex is awesome.

I don't realy think they are gonna put a massive amount of dialogue options in the prologue. As for the second part of the demo, its clearly been chopped up, its a very small action sequence in the over all level which has been reduced in substance for the purposes of the demo and to avoid spoilers. At least thats what i'm sensing from the way some of the cut scenes end abruptly.

I have BF3 and can access the MP demo without any problems.

I downloaded the demo from Origin's free games section.  MP shows up as a selectable menu option in the demo.  There is no seperate MP demo, it's all-in-one.

Hey can someone help me out? I bought the BF3 limited edition a while ago but it never came with some "online pass." It came with a flyer about the ME3 demo and how i've been granted early access. Where can i find my online pass? was it the one to activate Bf3 to begin with? Thanks.

EDIT: So i noticed the demo can be downloaded through origins free games section. Downloading it now, hopefully it will let me run it even though i don't remember redeeming any code.

I don't have access to the multiplayer aspect of the Mass Effect 3 demo.
I have the Limited Edition version of Battlefield 3 and Microsoft/Xbox support as well as EA/Origin support both told me that I'm basically out of luck.

Despite having preordered BF3 and being promised early access to the multiplayer of ME3, your representatives are telling me "bad luck" basically and I have to wait.

This doesn't seem right.
