Is the demo getting a worldwide release today - or is the UK PSN not getting the demo up until tomorrow afternoon? If so that is a bit rubbish really, because that means UK PS3 players have the BF3 early access a day less than Xbox and PC players.

Its going to be on the 15th for him around 4pm - 8pm

According to Mass Effect twitter - "For our PS3 users in the UK, demo release will be on the 15th, between approximately 4-8PM GMT. #MassEffect3". Rather annoying but to be expected I guess...
Oh wow that sucks. That's so much later compared to the xbox.

This is ridiculous. I have been almost constantly watching these forums for the news of the early access program since late November. I have been a Mass Effect fan since ME1, and have had the N7 Collector's Edition pre-ordered since it was first announced, so where is my early access? I'm sure many others can say the same. I'm just a little ticked that long-time loyal fans are getting bumped in favor of those annoying FPS drones. If we are not getting an early access program, all that I ask is for a confirmation of that there will be none, just so we know.
Booooowhooooo. I've been a fan since ME1 released and I'm not complaining. Stop acting childish and just wait for tomorrow.
The dude has a valid complaint. Stop acting like an a s s.

The following countdown timers are Timzone agnostic, just click to see how long you have to wait.
XBOX Release
PS3 Release
PC Release
Just quoting myself for anyone new to the thread. Once the countdown timers reach the expect time they count up saying how long they should/could've been out. Remember these are just estimates from Bioware, not a guarantee it could be earlier or later.

Agree, if Bioware decide to post information in their Demo FAQ clearly stating that there IS going to be some sort early access for MP for non-BF3 owners then why should be not complain. Apart from Chris Priestly's comment about it being delayed coz of "hoojamboobery" there's been no other info. The least they should do is make it clear what's happened rather then just hoping everyone forgets about it.

I PMed Chris about that about 4 hours ago, but you do realise he's probably asleep currently and at best can only give us info at 7/8 am his local time when he gets into the office.Novolizer wrote...

People really need to get a serious hold of some "Calm the F*ck Down" and engage brains before whine. If people are stupid enough not to know about timezones (and therefore b*tch about getting their demo "later" that everyone else) they should probably not play the game, or post on these fora, because they can probably not read either.

I can totally appreciate the whole timezone situtation - I don't expect him the get up in the middle of the night just to satify fanboys like me

I think the SNAFU last week, the femShep trailer and the early demo for XBox this last weekend kinda pushed out their delivery dates on that news. I'd be very surprised if we get any good news now, as it's only a couple days before everyone has MP anyway. But, we do need some official news on that, and that's why I PMed him directly instead of asking in a busy thread filled with hysteria.Novolizer wrote...
but the only reason I complain now is that it's been a WEEK since they were supposedly going to give us this early access info for non-BF3 owners. I think being patient for a week is pretty reasonable.

The fact of the matter is: Privileges for fans will not give you any potentially new customers - doing that for the "shooter-crowd", not addressing the ridicoulous assumption that people are EITHER shooter- OR rpg-fans, will.
It is the most logical thing to do for EA. Complaining will do squat.

I can confirm that the Australia bit is false. Because I just finished playing it.
I came here to find out what the deal with the muliplayer was. Google pointed me to here which although old, did mention that "Long time Mass Effect fans" would also get access to the MP...
I guess purchasing every piece of DLC isn't fan-worthy enough?
BUT, I don't care too much. I enjoyed the single player demo. It has some old faces and it's mainly action orientated. The bit I did enjoy trying out though, was the kinect functionality.
It has some slight lag. But I actually thought it was pretty cool. Conversation stuff I might not be for. But being able to say, "Liara, Warp." and "Liara Singularity." was cool. It did allow me to stay in combat and I didn't have to pause the game with my power wheel as much.
Setting my power shorcuts to other things and then just being able to say, "Cryo Ammo" and "Incendiary Ammo." I liked that a lot. It made me feel like Judge Dread.
Also, in the options it totally has a "Voice Dialect." option, mine was default to Australia. Which is great to know we Aussies aren't being left behind on the voice stuff. It worked really well, considering I was shooting dude loudly most of the time.
ANYway though. I would really like ot see some MP now! That's kind of the big unknown about ME3.
