If that's been said almost three times in this thread by now, I doubt he's biting.

It's more that I don't see the relevance of the skyscrapers in the future as I'm not using them as a frame of reference.

Seeing the difference between Sovereign and the Turian Cruisers, he was under a few times their size.  Fom looking at the trailers, I do notice the new Reaper frames being smaller, but not by much.  They are still large in size, and if you look at the new trailers, we can see vast differences in some sizes by distance.

So unless Bioware actually releases a scale picture set of the Reaper ships to Milky Way race ships, and put the confirmed sizes, this is a waste of time to Speculate. 

I used the Empire State Building, a building many people are familar with and have a reasonable idea of it's scale, not future skyscraprers which may be much taller.

but you use the empire state building as scale saying they look about that size without seeing them next to the empire state building, your judgement of scale is totally based on opinion of how big you think the empire state building would be in comparison, you have no way of judging their size in relation to it because you have no concept of the distance between Shepard and the Reaper or Shepard and the future skyscrapers to make such a judgement. Unless you actually see the reaper next to the empire state building saying they are "about the same size" is nothing but opinion with no basis in fact to back it up

The Collector Ship was still pretty massive TBH, and when you think back to the level where your inside one, that huge cylinder shaped room thingy that goes on forever just made It look a hundred times bigger...

Still, Sovereign was a unique Reaper built to be able to venture off into the galaxy without help of his fellow Reapers. So obviously he was built to withstand a battle much longer.

I suspect the skyscrapers hundreds of years in the future are taller than the Skyscraper they just built in Dubai, and its ~850m.

Does anyone else here wanted to see one of the ending of ME 3 is Reapers winning and seeing what a Human Reaper would look like completely built?

I think the Reapers on Earth are the same size as Sovereign. Comparing Sovereign's size in the end scene on ME1 at the Citadel. If they are not the same size then we are probably only talking tens of metres in length.

To compare the size of Sovereign on Eden Prime isn't effective as you don't know how far off he is.

I've seen the Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai myself, and it's REALLY TALL, not to mention HUGE at the base. At the time, I imagined two Burj Khalifas stacked on top of each other, and it would add up to 1.7 km. Imagine that a Reaper is approx. 300 meters taller than that. Scary, really.

I always imagined that the collector cruiser was about reaper sized just as long and definitly wider than a reaper.

It's been stated numerous times Sovereign was 2km long! Holy crap, that's official lore. No arguing with the word of god here. Now if they retcon it in game, fine. The other Reapers are pretty tall, but obviously the second class of Reaper. The smaller ones that enter the planet. Though the Dreadnoughts can do that too.

In the live action trailer which was leaked for a grand total of like 1 minute before being shut down we see a smaller reaper. It doesn't look quite 1km high. I'm talking about the smaller ones. Why the dreadnoughts haven't made an appearance is anyone's guess.

Soverign was so huge, look what he did to the ground at Eden Prime. He completely scorched and destroyed it. These Reapers that are landing don't seem to be having any effect like that. So they are thus the smaller one. Problem solved, we can all go home.

In some of the other screens we do see Reapers as tall as Skyscrapers. These have to be dreadnoughts to be that tall. It could also be a possiblity that Soverign was a special case and was larger than most reapers to begin with since he was a covert operative.

Bioware's sense of scale sucks. All the Reaper Capital Ships are roughly the same size and are said to be 2km long, even if they don't look it.

That could have been from when he took off though.  The other reapers we see are landing.

Maybe Sovereign was left behind as a vanguard because of his size? Meaning he was stronger than other reapers and thus could usher in the other reapers on his own force if need be (even though he failed).

What is interesting is the huge size discrepency between the big capital ship reapers and the destroyer reapers. Don't get me wrong I think the smaller destroyer reapers make alot of sense as they would be able to be more agile and mobile planetside but the difference is huge.
