So I picked up on my Insanity character to get ready for ME3 and I dreaded Horizion so when I finally got there I forgot how much of a **** the 2 Scions and Praetorian is. Mainly hard because of how useless your squadmates are. 2 Shockwaves from a Scions cripple me. I clear out the Husks but I can't get passed them. Now I looked on youtube for help as Soldier but I didn't set my squadmates or I up properly. So any tips on how to do this without restarting?

If you would have posted in the Strategy Forum I would have posted sooner. : )
Anyway, I've seen a youtube video where the player positions him/herself to left of the map on that high area past the truck, where husks crawl up, it seems that being on that high ground helps. I'd need to dig it back up to link it here.
Also you can snipe away at one of the scions after opening the big door. You should be able to see part of one's arm/right side from the entrance.

Actually you can snipe them both Scions if you are careful(with ammo too) and use Arush to the max. The one on the right you can see the back hump, the one on the left you can see the "gun" arm and if shot he takes damage. Cheating maybe, but since they make that kinda a "cheap" difficultly area, I do it often as I can. I usually save the heavy ammo box to refill my ammo between the first and second Scion.......

Here's my advice from another thread:
I have a surefire tactic for Horizon insanity regardless of class these days (agree that its one of the hardest fights in the game).
I charge in and go straight for the platform on the left. One husk will spawn there. Kill it quick. Then order your squad into cover on the platform. The Scion shockwaves will not penetrate this cover. Use your powers and a heavy weapon to focus on one Scion and take it out as quickly as possible. Since you occupy one husk spawn point, you'll have husks coming at you from the other side. Your squad should be able to take them out but help them as necessary. The second scion might make it as far as the platform, try and kill it before it gets there as giving up the platform will mean more husks.
Once again, occupy the platform for the Collector waves. Harby and Collector assassins should be your priority. These waves will become simple cover shooting stages. Finally the Praetorian. Multiple ways to deal with it. I tend to prefer shooting at it from a distance as it floats towards you. When it hunkers down to recharge its barriers, simply spring to the other side of the field and keep shooting. Depending on your class, AR/Cloak/Tech Armour/Drone are great for the mobility aspect as they will make sure you can safely move from one side of the battlefield to the other.
