If so, it is too low. I'm already 15. (iirc)
I've only played Adept, and for about 6 hours.

That makes 480 levels. Right?

20 levels x 6 classes = 120 levels.

The required xp ramps up very quickly
As for the original question, you shall see in the full game

I see. I thought it was for each character.Eckswhyzed wrote...
Errr....no.
20 levels x 6 classes = 120 levels.
Anyway, 120 levels is still quite a bit...
I find it quite funny that no one wanted multiplayer for the longest time and now people are disappointed that there isn't enough of it in the game.

It doesn't have to be a main draw, it's still a draw and people are still interested. No need to gimp their own product just because it's not going to pull in Gears/CoD numbers. That's silly.staindgrey wrote...
Remember that multiplayer isn't supposed to be the main draw for this game. I seriously doubt they're trying to create a sense of longevity similar to primarily online shooters like Gears and CoD.
Not that I think they gimped the mode, but still.
edit: If you can get a group of four going, you could play the game for two hours and max a class just by getting through the 11 waves each time you play. That's pretty damn fast to max out a level.

Let me explain then, before Human Revolution was released no one was buying into the game's hype, people complained it did not do X thing which Deus Ex 1 did, the cover system sucked, no melee weapons etc. Untill the beta (1/5 of the game) got leaked and people actually played it. It was like a Jedi Mind trick, sceptics declared it GOTY, pre-ordered cancelled became pre-orders.PoliteAssasin wrote...

so what happens if you unlock a new race for class at level 10? Does it start at level 10 as well?
Yes.
I was working on my Human Adept, and i unlocked an Asari Adept from the kit, and it was the same level as my human adept (same class), and i then had 44 points to spend on my new Asari Adept skill tree.
So yes, while levels are tied to the class, not the characters, you still are able to tweak your characters individually.
