many games get by with it...
some kinda have it...
others make us just wanna PUKE!!!
but every once in a while a game comes along where the audio just doesnt back up the rest of the band like a bass player and drummer "supporting" the face of a rock band... sometimes it will actually sit in the forefront and usher you through an experience with the deft hand of a plumber charming a poop snake...
age of conan had this quality to a degree.
but DAO is an aural masterpiece unto itself!!!
how many games do you want to play with headphones on?
now how many do you NEED to play with headphones on???
one.
and its name is dragon age origins.
so yeah, just another round of rim jobbing bioware for such an excellent game, but i will back up my claims with such descriptive fluidity that may rival any prose written by a prison lifer with the linguistic skills of a 2nd grader after a new batch of "toilet" moonshine!!!
the audio in DAO is incredible. while in ostagar i can hear birds and people as well as the wind rustling the leaves in the trees. when talking to my group members depending on what environs we're in, certain reverb textures are applied.
the music strikes the core of the emotions that swirl about like a concubine giving a rusty trombone whilst playing a cello with her fake leg that houses a cooler with lambrusco on ice...
so let me raise my PBR IN A CAN to bio.
audio rock.
honky out...
DAO's aural extravagance!!!
