I am really looking forward to Mass Effect 3, and I have been a huge fan of the entire Mass Effect series so far.
I am really concerned about the implementation of DLC for multiplayer. We know that by purchasing certain merchandise (action figures, artbook, etc.), certain users can get access to special multiplayer DLC.
First of all, is all available DLC that comes with the merchadise exclusive or is it simply a freebie unlock in the game? One would think that by releasing certain unique weapons to players who buy the merchadise would gain an unfair advantage. I personally don't want to miss out on any of the in-game DLC, but I know I can't afford to buy a console skin and all of the figurines. So, a little info about how the multiplayer DLC works would be great.
Also, from what I read, the figurines offer a "random" piece of DLC to purchasers. What exactly does that mean? Does the play get a random in-game gun dropped for their inventory, or are there a bunch of "exclusive" guns and by purchasing a figurine, you just get one by chance? Again, I'd like to collect and use all of the DLC at some point, but nobody really knows if that is even possible (on a normal budget).
Thanks for all that you have done so far, BioWare, and I look forward to a great game!
