Martin Sheen - TIM
Yvonne Strahovski - Miranda
Kimberley Brooks - Ashley
Michael Beattie - Mordin
Fred Tatasciore - Saren
Courtney Taylor - Jack
Liz Sroka - Tali
They all have very challenging roles with lots of dialogue and yet all manage to be 100% realistic AND utterly engaging emotionally.
Other actors shine too, but do not make this list because their roles are not very challenging (D.C. Douglas, Steve Blum, Tricia Helfer), or because their roles don't have much dialogue despite their great performance (Lance Henriksen, Claudia Black, Michael Hogan), or because they are brilliant but have many flaws (Jennifer Hale, Ali Hillis, Keith David).

Mark Hamil................... oh you meant in Mass Effect.
Well that title belongs to Martin Sheen (even though he never has more than one type of accent in a game).

I absolutely love Tricia Hepler in ME 2. I thought she did an amazing job. Others:
Mark Meer ME 2 (even the vorcha!)
Ali Hillis
Courtney Taylor
Natalie Cigliuti
And I still like Hale as Femshep. People can not like her and that's fine, or call her overrated, but I've been a fan of Hale for years. Before Mass Effect, I was really big on the Metal Gear Solid series and I loved Hale as Dr. Naomi and Emma Emmerich, so I was thrilled when I found out she was in ME.

Jennifer Hale by far is my favorite, I loved her voice work even before ME. I was always a fan of Bastilla Shan in KOTOR.

Am I the only one who thought Courtney Taylor pulled of the crazy biotic b!tch rather well?
I hate Jack as a character, but her voice acting was superb. Also Seth Green, Keith David, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Ash (Liz) Sroka, Claudia Black, Brandon Keener, Martin Sheen, and Lance Henriksen (in no particular order) and Beattie.
I also think that Jennifer Hale's femshep is terribly overrated, just monotone, emotionless and uncaring most of the time. Meer used a lot more inflection in his lines from what I've compared, despite people saying he was an "emotionless brick".
Not a fan of Ali Hillis either.

Okay I might get flamed but I like Mark Meer. He's got that heroic voice. I know his VO has been a bit robotic. With ME3 though he seems to be adding a lot more emotion into his acting.

My favourites have got to be Ali Hillis, Yvonne Strahovski, Martin Sheen and Seth Green.
That said, I do love Jennifer Hale's voicing of femshep - Oh god, her and Seth Green's voice acting during the end of Mass Effect 2 if femshep dies

Agreed. I find it ridiculous that she's in the voice cast trailer alongside Martin Sheen, Tricia Helfer, and Keith David, as if she's a selling point.

Hale's voice imho lacks a bit of will and determination, which Shepard is kinda supposed to have. Is too feminine, which is fine for Bastila, who is being seduced by main char. But in Mass effect we ARE the main char. She can definitely do it though, look at Mazzy in BG2. So i dont know what happened.
Also i absolutely hate Tricia Helfer, the hell she is oversensualized too. Or maybe thats the lasting impression from BSG (galactica) where she was constantly talking about sex, while thats was the last thing she was supposed to talk.

Courtenay Taylor
Brandon Keener
Robin Sachs
Raphael Sbarge
Seth Green
Those are my favorite VA's in ME (I don't even care for Zaeed too much but damn his voice is good)
Fingers crossed that Alan Rickman will play he-spoiler.

Rather be overrated or underpaid?
The fact you say that, says a lot about you. It's cool though, you have a right to your opinion.
She has my respect, she's in a profession that's tough to break into, I like her voice that's a bonus.

Mark Meer - he completely blows Jennifer Hale out of the water, which is quite an accomplishment, considering she is one of the best voice actors in the business. Jennifer Hale gives a soid performance as Shepard, I just think she falls short of Meer. His performance was so spot on that his version of Shepard often reminds me of Staff NCOs and Mustangs (officers who are prior enlisted) I knew while I was in the Marines.
Martin Sheen - No explanation needed.
Keith David - No explanation needed.
Lance Henriksen - No explanation needed.
Courtenay Taylor - I'm not a huge fan of Jack (like her, but don't love her) but I think she did a fantastic job with the character.
