i done tali loyalty mission and she dies on the collector ship did i do something wrong or is this a bug in mass effect 2

She die if you pick wrong "second team leader" when she is in the vents, or if you leave her to hold the line without strong defenders.

i pick miranda both times for leader and tali still dies

she dies in the last stand and yes miranda is loyal but could tali quest be it to i said don't go to war with the geth

No, Tali's loyalty is perfectly fine. If she dies at the last stand, then you should leave stronger defenders to hold the line(Grunt, Garrus, Zaeed) or just take Tali with you to the final battle.

i will try that but i always use miranda and tali lives but for some reason she end up dieing

ok thanks and 1 more thing before i go to the collector base i hit i'm not ready and i done legion loyalty mission and then i go to the collector base and chambers and them dies in the pod don't know if this is a bug

I've had Tali die after the vents, even with all but Zaeed loyal (he survived the Suicide Mission).

They affect getting there but not once you're off the ship.

Tali died on my first play through because I chose Jacob to hold up the Biotic field. Just pointing out the fact that you missed a way she could die.
