I am playing as a DPS, Dual Wielding Human Warrior in a party of Alistair (Tank), Morrigan (Mage DPS) and depending on my mood, Wynne/Leliana (as healer/archer/lockpicker). I plan on acquiring the  Berserker specialisation and was wonding what would be best to go with it.

Champion: Seems decent, but wouldn't this be better given to Alistair?

Templar: Alistair already has this, but it does seem pretty useful...

Reaver: It sounds alright, but I've heard some people say it's terrible and others that it's more suited too tanking. It also clahses with my character being "good"...

What do you think I should go with?

Also what second specialisation should Alistair take as a tank? Champion?

Also again, does Perfect Striking increase or decrease DPS as a Dual Wielder? Thanks! ^_^

if you are going to put champion on Alister, go Reaver, if not, give yourself champion and put reaver on Alister :P

dual wielding berseker/champion is pretty broken. So if you're looking for the best possible specialization to make your warrior 1337, champion is the obvious choice.

Templar is less than useless. If you're using Templar's to battle enemy mages, you're really failing at this game.

Though, to be honest, I've never played a reaver so I can't really have an opinion on that choice other than... it's evil to the nth degree and your character is good, so it makes less than zero sense to pick it, if you like roleplaying at all.

I would say it really boils down to how much trouble you're having with enemy mages. If you're having trouble with them, having a second Templar may be worth it. I'm not certain if Holy Smite creates hostility or not. If you're doing fine with them, Champion is probably the better choice. War Cry + Superiority is decent if you're surrounded.

In all honesty, I don't think it really matters. Why? Personally, for DPS I would max out Two Weapon (12 points), Warrior (for Precise/Perfect Striking and Death Blow, 8 pts), and Berserker (4 pts). That doesn't leave many points for a second specialization. In this case, Champion is probably better for the small bonus to Willpower to get more Stamina.

Again. If you're using Templars to take out enemy mages... you really missed the boat.
