I really think it's the eyes, they are too big. I made a Shepard that looked like the promotional art so I could play with the default in the third game. Unfortunately, I think I'll just stick with the one I made.

Yeah, I think her face is odd too. I never use default femshep anyway i make my own. but understand where you all are coming from they should have done better since the male looks exactly like the artworks and the female don't.

I had hoped that she would look closer to the concept art taken from the vote.

He hair seemed a lighter red, and she didn't have the lip stick, IIRC.

I think she's beautiful in some angles, and looks like a retard in others XD

I was somewhat disapointed with the default femshep, when creating the character doesn't look that bad but oh god, ingame the lighting show us the truth.

To me her bigegst problems are, the cartoonie eyes, general facial structure, lips too pucker abd the wrinkles that comes down the nose on the sides of the mouth, those sometimes look really really bad. The shock was bigger after seeing the new Ashley, why didn't they do default femshep with that same quality? It makes her look like a secondary character compared to her....

But the thing that really annoyed me, and I think no one has mentioned it, is that default's femshep hairstyle isn't available for custom ones! and to me that was the only thing that was great from default femshep, a new and unique hairstyle.... so to those who say: if you don't like her, customize it, well, it's not the same, just that.

I'm not really angry or anything, just a little bit disapointed, all the other characters look terribly good and the graphics in general are brilliant, I loved how after a gunfight the whole place was filled with holes =)

sadly I have to agree I cant decide if it's the eyes or the freckles or just the facial structure but yea the new default femshep is amazingly jarring

i created several new femsheps just in case the import fails

Yeah, doesn't look too great, but neither so most of the models. The freckles didn't translate well at all, looks like acne, completely off putting. The blonde would have worked better. The skin/hair tone and freckles look pretty unnatural.

Doesn't matter to me how she looked in the demo, since I'll be importing my *real* femshep from ME1 and ME2. They never needed to change from the default femshep of the past 2 games imo. *shrugs*

Well, more disappointed than angry.

It's like the left femShep design up to a bunch of interns.

The fact that they seem to have put in more effort in Ashley than FemShep does baffle me.

The default face grew on me but still, they could have done a much better job. She bears very little resemblance to the concept art and I'm being generous.
