Hello all,

I am in my second playthrough and I am using Sten as a tank instead of Alistair. However he does not gain a specialization point at level 7 and so I cannot spec him. All of the specs except Reaver are unlocked but he just doesn't have the point to spend. I have tried respeccing him multiple times with the respec mod but still to no avail. He is level 9 at the moment. What is wrong? In my last playthrough I could give him a spec, so why not now?

Sten only gets one spec point and level 14. Nothing is wrong it's just how Bio made him.

What the hec? Ok thanks for the answer but I don't understand why...



Anyway I only planned on giving him Champion spec so it's ok but I would have started sooner than level 14.. oh well!



I noticed also that whether he is 2h or tank he gets a str bonus from his relationship with you.. ugh

Heh all your conpaions get small bounes if they're on good terms with you (with the expstion of Dog I think) the more they like you the bigger the bouns they get.

Sten is so awesome he doesn't need your specializations.

My sten has only ever gotten one. Never could dual spec him

Well he is A Qunari. The Ideal of their philosophy is to be a excellent specialist. So whatever spec you choose, min max it.
