Yes, I have, and without going into spoiler territory, from all indications every CHOICE is a FLAVOR choice, i.e., the same thing ultimately happens, just in a different way.  That is not choice and consequence, that is false choice and irrelevance.

Guess what.

It's still a choice and a consequence, no matter how you twist it. If it didn't meet your expectations, then that's your own fault for setting the bar too high.

Actually, it's exactly not a choice and consequence.  And excuses like that are why we can't have nice things.

Choice is choice.  You are arguing about the impact said choice, which is a matter of degree.  You cannot, however, say that there is no choice.  To do so smacks of hyperbole, which is why so many people do not take these threads seriously.

The "choices" in ME are about as compelling as choosing whether or not to give Aerith a flower in Final Fantasy 7.

It's the internet.  If you have a different opinion, you're either a drone or troll.  Insightful posts are passed over in favor of drama-inducing ones.  Words are used in ways that aren't close to their meaning.  Memes are better ways to express rather than actual expression.

Now, we have this lovely vista residing over Reddit overlooking the rest of meme-county....

Also,  wow, ugly textures. What's worse is the framerate felt very inconsistent in some bits. There was a close up of one of the human council's face, the woman I think, and I was scared my xbox was going to crash, the framerate got so bad. The face textures are on the whole well detailed, but the clothing/armour detail looks extremely jarring and outdated.

Also, the writing is absolutely terrible. It is cliched as hell. Stuff like "you can't help me", "let's get the hell outta here!" and "thanks, I owe you one" makes me cringe. The forced drama BS with the kid in the vents, only to be killed by a Reaper, was just lame. No I'm not offended by kids getting killed. It's just dumb in this context all together. All the characters have changed drastically. Ashley unexplainably got a boob job, and has makeup. Same with Liara. Wrex just comes off as whiny, instead of a calm, brooding badass. When the krogan female snatched the shotgun out of his hands and shot down two cerberus soldiers (it was a claymore heavy shotgun, and she used it like it was an automatic shotgun, talk about inconsistency) Wrex's line "huh, women" was just so unbelievably cringe inducing. And now, Reapers, being machine gods that exterminate the galaxy every 50,000 years, are end level minibosses.

Also, it appears the dialogue options have been cut down dramatically, to cater to a more casual, younger audience. There's a clear cut good and evil choice, and that's it. No middle branch. No "investigate" on the left hand side. It's far too simplisitic. What's worse is that this game is 90% cutscene and 10% dialogue, if you get what I mean. Shepard speaks of his own accord far more than the player gets to control him. The michael bay-esque camera is also annoying as hell. I'd prefer it if I just played the game, rather than have wierd, goofy fish eye distortion effects every time there's an explosion.

Finally, the gameplay is horrible. The animations are extremely jerky and unnatural looking. The controls are very unresponsive. it feels like it's trying to be Gears of War, but it fails in every single aspect. It doesn't have the tight, fluid gameplay to match. It feels horribly floaty and rigid. The enemy AI is also really bad. They literally just stand there and take it. They don't try to be aggressive or flank you. They just stand/sit where they are, idly, like vegetables. The level design is also far too linear. Corridor, corridor, corridor. Some very convenient explosions causing walkways to appear miraculously before Shepard. Anderson screams "RELOAD. GET IN COVER. FOLLOW ME. THERE'S A LADDER THERE", like Shepard is autistic or something.

All of this screams of whinism.

I see none of these problems; it's an amazing game. But we are all welcome to our OPINIONS.

My post isn't directed at fans in denial. It's directed at people who are reasonable and not deluded.

I'm reasonable and not deluded and this sounds like a two year old temper tnatrum because Mommy didn't give him his blue toy.

Sorry bud, if you want to critique something try not using buzz words like "he sounds autistic" and throwing the word "cliche" around like you don't understand what it means.

It's ok to be worried over some silly video game which is not even good for the genre it took.

Though the thing is
As a fan, you like the IP and see it with personal interest, emotional attachment if you will.

Yet, NOBODY in bioware or EA see you, the long time customer, with personal emotional interest, you are just a number on their book marked as old XX.

They can and will do whatever the hell with the game if it's profitable, they will make ME into pong if it's profitable for the company with many workers.

In conclusion, you can worry to the end that your list of things would build up as high as Mt. everest, but still EA/ bioware will not consider any of your concern and will do whatever the hexx to make profitable game.

End of line/ just joking around, no offense.

No need my good man, the reasonable people have already jumped ship once they realized ME3 was little more than a dumbed down linear popamole shooter whose story is merely a space jesus wish fulfillment/power fantasy with a lot of bad fanwanking.

Fixed that for ya.

I already posted my impressions of the demo in another thread that's now been locked, so I'll just say this: I was holding off on preordering the game until the demo came out, and after playing it today I put in my preorder. The end.

Don't mess with my right to enjoy something you don't. Because that's what haters usually do. Insulting, flaming and trolling people who enjoy something because they believe their motives and their enjoyment is of superior relevance.

Then please accept my sincere appologies about the blind thing.  As for the ignorant, it wasn't meant as an insult - If you've never played a game that handles choice and it's consequences really well, then how could you be expected to miss it in this game?

The devs missapropriate the phrase choice and consequence whenever possible, because it is a throwback to old rpgs that really would turn on a dime if you killed someone, or didn't.  It's offensive to see it used to describe this, though, because the choices are hollow.

Well it's a good thing you recognized your insults and apologized.  :)

It's interesting you use the word "ignorant" for people you know nothing about.  Yes, very interesting.  Very presumptuous.  But that's not surpising, ego's can be nasty things at times for all of us.

It's also mildly interesting you responded to me, when I mainly quoted someone else.  But that could be a simple mistake.

Obviously if you can't take criticism from the few logical and objective folks such as myself on here who haven't replied back with trolliing or BioWare RAH chest-thumping, then you shouldn't be trying to press your close-mindedness on other people.

I'm too busy with other things, playing other games included, to have time left to be a fan - much less one in denial. I suppose that qualifies me as "reasonable" and "not deluded" - so allow me. Whether it's fans, fans in denial, ex-fans, developers, publishers or anything in between:

You are fabricating stuff. You just said I'm "calling everyone unreasonable and deluded", yet this isn't true at all, I was merely quoting one person who sticks his head in the sand when he hears stuff he doesn't like.

Now here is a crusader for the little guy, a champion against the corporate machine because according to their vast wisdom I have sat down and accepted all the whatevers big companies pour forth.  Of course anyone who disagree's with them - their motives are suspect. Why, they must be lazy (sit on your ass) and mentally lacking (**********).  This places this champion high above those of differing opinions because hey - they are better than us!  Ah, the positioning and the posturing!  We need no longer bother with free thought, we should just lap the honey that pours from this person's keyboard.

You're missing the point, Brosef. What's the point of even having these forums if all people here will do is praise, praise, and attacking users in stead of discussing (you)?

I have rarely/never complaines about ME3 on these forums, but for morons such as yourself to say that critcicism is stupid and pointless annoys me.
