Using children in peril to evoke a reaction is extremely cheap and lazy.
Maybe so, but it works. I know, I got two kids and the thought of anything happening to them scares the crap out of me.

Blur Studios makes some beautiful things that just didn't do anything for me, it seemed. But this one is looking to turn that all around.
Blur does make some awesome trailers, but this one is made by a group called Digic, so credit where it is due.
And the full trailer is among the best I think we've ever made. Can't wait to see your reaction come Sunday.
Awesome. I honestly think that Digic Pictures makes better trailers than Blur does. All of their last works are pure gold.
And that Assassin's Creed Revelations trailer is just to die for.

5 times killed by grenades (didn't know exact area of effect although I ran from them)
2 times killed by a Cerberus soldier for being careless (melee damage did less damage than anticipated and I f--ked up)
3 times killed by Atlas guy (I kept trying to get inside the Atlas but didn't succed, so ended up just destroying it)
Conclusion: Game is challenging (I like that). Regarding conversation, i found the demo to lack choice, but I guess it's because they wanted it to be as spoiler free as possible. This demo basically gave a taste of the gameplay and the gameplay is very solid, but I have some annoyances to put out for PC controls layout and maneuverability:
1. no crouch button (this is bad, real bad)
2. no go around corners cover button or anything close, or at least if there is one I didn't find it
3. you can't map weapons to buttons say F1 for assault rifles, F2 for shotguns, etc... or anything like that. You either pause the game and select with mouse from interface or scroll till you reach the weapon u want. ME1 had the keyboard options for weapons. Too bad they're not in ME3 since is even more action oriented (the action is good).
These are not game breaking, but the gameplay would've been even better with them.
EDIT: Also SPACE is used for running, jumping, swat turns, getting objects. It's annoying if you want to get an upgrade or some credits, but instead of doing that you f- up and Shep does a barrel roll or something like that. Clearly a console choice.

I can't really speak for PC controls, but on consoles, pressing the thumbsticks allows you to go around cover corners without leaving it. Took me a while to find, but there is almost certainly an analog on PC. Hopefully you don't have to hunt too far for it!

The kid's face looks a little creepy. I take it the modelers don't have much experience making kid's faces, and I don't blame them.
Maybe it's just an ugly child? They do exist.
Okay. Now, I feel bad for saying that.

I was never a fan of the boy you encounter in the opening of ME3 for the simple reason of him being used for Pathos. You know? That story telling element that's meant solely to stir up emotion even though it might not have anything to do with the story or it's character. If this is a battle hardened Shepard who sacrificed his/her own troops, destroyed a populated solar system AND was willing to commit acts of murder, this isn't that Shepard. I've seen Shepard not bad an eye when some of her friends died in the field, and now Shepard has feelings for a kid that we don't even know? I get that the Reapers are evil. Blowing up one single building is enough to convince anyone of that. This, coupled with ANOTHER pathos inducing trailer feels like Bioware is spoon feeding us on how we should be reacting to this.
