I'm getting tired of this "Fight For Earth" ad campaign. Shepard has already saved Galaxies and now he/she is reduced to trying to save one planet as the overall goal to try and make me buy ME3? Saving the world is the goal in almost every game. I'm sorry but I don't like feeling like humans are the only important race in the universe. Spending no time on Earth in either ME1/ME2 why should I care about it when there are a lot of better planets that I have spent time on and met more interesting people on out there? Why not say Fight For The Universe?

It reminds me of DA2. I'm fighting for Kirkwall instead of a real country.(but I'm not going to compare it to ME3, because I know they learned something from the backlash.)

Yeah they should show us the entire game not just the intro with silly little far reaching consequences, we all know the reapers will go home once they've done humanity.

(PS. you're actions in Kirkwall go beyond it's walls and being there for that time was a pretty good way of showing that over just popping into 10 towns clearing up everyone problems and leaving)

They don't have to show us anything, they haven't really so far either. They just keep saying Earth this Earth that..

(PS. They still downgraded from a country to a city, And as for the "time" skipping years is an easy way out as well. "Time" in ME3 won't be any different from what you just said popping in and clearing up people problems while the reapers sit on Earth tearing it apart. )

The game is being marketed as the fight for humanity and this silly take back the Earth nonsense. I hope it's just standard marketing rubbish but we won't know until the game is released.

It is just that. I guess they think "galaxy" is too big a thing to grasp for a general audience.

And what about Rannoch, Palaven, Tuchanka, Khar'shan (that's probably already 99% indoctrinated, destroyed, etc.) and hundreds of other colony worlds belonging to other Citadel races? Maybe most of the Reaper fleet is on Earth now, but it's not likely that they'll stop there after eradicating every human on the planet. Earth might be the site of the decisive battle in this galactic war, but there's a whole lot more at stake; the survival of intelligent life in the Milky Way, and not just the survival of one planet.

Not to mention if you played the demo they point out that Earth is really just one of the first stops for the Reapers. I am sure by the time you get to the Citadel or even Mars your learn that other places are being hit. Just Earth is special to the Reapers, I wouldnt be surprised if we have to stop another baby Reaper from being made too type deal. We know the Reapers are hell bent on uplifting the Humans to Reaperhood.

Guys it's not a trailer for the trailer. It's called a TEASER and it's a fairly common practice. No one seems to have a problem when teasers are released for movies, so why all the kerfuffle now?

How do we know anything else isn't under attack? All communication beyond the Charon Relay has been severed, but from earlier gameplay and info we do know that Palaven is desperately trying to defend against a reaper invasion on the same scale as the one on Earth and Thessia is being hit too. I would imagine these were hit before, during or shortly after the invasion of Earth.

how can you accuse the Reaper of such things, we all know the Reaper just wants to play with her. The Reapers are just misunderstood like the Geth, they are all soft deep down. Look at Harbringer, he always flirts with Shepard.
