mine isn't really a spell combo, but it's listed as such

i find nothing more satisfying than a successful SHATTER!!

get my mage to cast CoC, then Ali to do an 'overwhelm' on an enemy, Shale to do 'slam' on another, and Lilly to crippling/shattering shot on yet another enemy

nothing quite like a one hit KO

what about you guys? whats your fav combo? doesn't have to be official

glyff of paralysis and repulsion combo by a long shot. When I paralyzed myself for the first time with that combo I was so pissed. Then I went around trying it out and figuring out the exact range of the effect by sight...and now it makes me smile every time. I don't like playing with Morrigan because it makes my game too easy, but my God... I have to do it once in a while just so I can do:

Glyff combo

Blood Wound

Storm of the Century

And watch everything in a room, including most bosses, die.

Most combos don't do anything for me... none of them are quite as satisfying as beginning (and ending) a fight against a group of mages with mana clash. But I do use the shattering one often, if out of coincidence, since I freeze enemies often.

I agree with nuculerman on this one.

it was the first combo magic I stumbled upon. I had set down a repulsion glyph between the enemies and my party. But several of the enemies ended up in my melee range anyway. So I set down the paralyze glyph to disable one of them... Then became very confused as the whole battle stopped.

I also like setting down a repulsion glyph at a choke point (doorway) and then setting down a blizzard behind it.

Alistair + Virulent walking bomb, most satisfying combo in the game.

I also like my empowered animate  dead.

relhart, I hope I'm reading this wrong...

Alistair + Virulent Walking Bomb 0_o

You turn Alistair into a suicide bomber? ... Actually the concept seems like a pretty good idea... just replace alistair with a summoned wolf or something.

As mentioned by Nimzar, it isn't a combo, but a favorite tactic of mine is to set down a Glyph of Repulsion in a doorway and then to cast LULZ-AOE spells in the room behind the door... any mobs that get through are immediately Taunted onto Alistair or CC'd until Morrigan can get off the Cone of Cold and we can shatter them.

Hexes + Drain are used pretty regularly by me as well.

No....it has to be Alistair...that is the whole point, The spell isn't complete unless he is smeared across a wall.

My favorite combo is to have myself cast Cone of Cold, and then have Morrigan follow up with a Cone of Cold.

You turn Alistair into a suicide bomber?

Unfortunately, you can't do that.  When I saw Animate Dead in the same branch as Walking Bomb, I immediately thought "suicide bomber", but alas.  That would just end up abusing the AI, however, since you can already repeatedly send pets to their death and the AI will just stop fighting after the pet dies if they haven't yet spotted your party.

I wouldn't mind having a zombie-Zevran suicide bomber.  Can you imagine that guy shambling into a room with a cracked skull, broken bones, coughing up blood, with multiple gaping wounds and gouged out eyes, and then spontaneously exploding, his filthy, tainted elf parts littering the room?  Please patch this, Bioware.

I actually make my own minigame by seeing how many injuries I can stack on him during the course of a dungeon run :D
