Why are you not using the updated unreal engine with true widescreen support, and why no FOV ability for PC gamers?
You make one of the greatest gaming series ever and could help its playability by allowing FOV changes or true widescreen support. Do you even know what we forum members are talking about?

I did in fact download the demo on PC and the ****box just to comfirm this.
But the thing that annoys me the most is the fact that the textures are worse then the starcraft 2 textures during the non-RTS story parts of the campaign...
This was something completely trivial that blizzard made and it looks better then ME3... just so ****ing sad...

You are Right, Man. The texture is really bad. It has almost the same quality as ME2. And man, did you Look at the FOV. It's really uncomfortable on PC. Bioware. Before release the game next month, please fix it. Na add xbox 360 controller support for the minority like me.

I'll looked thru the config files and there is absolutly nothing that indicates that fov can be changed at this point. Hopefully retail will have more config files.
BTW its built on Unreal Engine 3.5 so it could do 32x (found possible place to set it)

We really need to be able to set the FOV!

As much as I love the series, the FOV might be a deal breaker for me. I don't think I can play an entire game like that--hard enough getting through the demo.

Someone needs to teach BioWare game design fundamentals, it seems.

A small part of me is hoping that I open up the game options on Tuesday and find a FOV slider there. Most of me is resigned to either suffering through the smaller FOV or using some mod that fixes it, at the risk of messing up cutscenes.

I might be wrong, but since ME3 uses the Unreal Engine doesn't that mean that you can tweak the ini files of the game to configure it at your pleasure?
You can, and some people already tried modding and changed the FOV. Two issues with this though. First, the modded FOV works fine during playing, but messes up the cutscenes. I'm hopeful that once the game is released, some modders will find some way aroud this. And second, it's not clear whether using a modded file might get one's Origin account banned since apparently the same file is used for single and multiplayer.
The easiest solution would be for Bioware to release a patch with a FOV option, but there's been no comment anything like that yet.
