So we need to use 3rd party mods to fix FoV? The coders of the PC port could give us a hint? no?

Yes you can adjust FoV in ME3.

Hmm, I don't want to be blunt and all, but I'm surprised that the Kingdoms of Amalur development team on the other hand actually addressed this issue and will fix it in their game.

On some levels I don't see the difference between using some unfriendly third party tool to decrypt a non-text file and re-assemble it to change the FoV and having a built in slider into the game, heh.

They'd have to add an option in the Graphics settings menu and a slider for it, then.
And I'm sure that's a bit more of a hassle than just editing a value.

....though considering they wrote the game, it cannot possibly that hard to do it, either.

Please, BioWare, do something about the FoV.

It isn't about textures; it's about the comfort of a player. Changing the field of view won't alter how we view textures on screen the resolution will remain the same, but it will allow players to play without feeling clautrophobic or sick in some other way where the brain is freaking out  over the cramped gameplay.

There's a NINE page long thread a few pages back, too.

I don't even care if they don't do some slider. A simple external config file line or even a slight alteration to the external configuration tool would be fine.

I might even settle for a High/Low variable that lets you choose just 2 values of 90 or the default 70.

An in-game slider [or choice between a few variables] would be cleanest for users. They may as well do it right if they do it at all.
